Neo-Vintage Industrial Wedding

For their recent styled wedding shoot, a team consisting of Mirabel Photography, Fleur de Lis Event Consulting, and Ella Floral Event Design put together this industrial inspiration session with a bit of a neo-vintage twist. Light bulbs were the star of the show, playing on a “you light up my life” theme — how cute is that?!

From the event designer, Valerie of Fleur de Lis Event Consulting: Have you ever fallen for someone so deeply just the thought of them lights you up? This unbelievable feeling was the inspiration behind this styled editorial shoot: You Light Up My Life. Throughout this neo-vintage industrial shoot various types of light bulbs make a notable appearance. The “light of my life” cake topper was constructed from different watt light bulbs and a calligrapher’s talented hand. The decanter stoppers, martini sticks and even the light bulb place cards all fall in line with the theme.

A color palette of creamy whites with bronze accents made the perfect combination for this elegant modern yet retro design. As we have all learned from fashion- trends always resurface, but often take on a whole new look. You can see this twist in the acrylic Chiavari chairs, lace bridal gown with sleeves, the modern decanters and custom handwritten invitations. Look at the lush tablescape and candle filled stairwell; every detail of this shoot shines bright!
