Monochrome Spring Wedding Editorial
One of our all-time favorite wedding trends? Monochrome. Given the right amount of texture and irresistable floral design, it’s never boring and provides endless inspiration. Kelly Lemon Photography and Koordination by Krisanna used an all-white palette with just the lightest hints of grey and greens to create a delicate weddingscape full of natural light and sunshine.
From the event designer, Krisanna of Koordination by Krisanna: When Kelly (the photographer) and I sat down to discuss styled shoot theme ideas, we wanted a challenge… so we chose to do an all-white theme (with a hint of green & gray). Criteria for my team was simple: white & delicate! The Rainier Chapter house (in Seattle, WA) was perfection for what we had in mind – it provided us with a ballroom, complete with hardwood floors and white walls + big windows and the most dreamy natural light.
Delicate glassine bags were filled with homemade almond meltaway cookies and tied with silk ribbon (as favors), our “bride” was dressed in the most enchanting Claire La Faye gown (with local jewelry designer, Heidi Hull’s, pearl earrings as the cherry on top), Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse (Seattle) provided an all-white food spread, and Liz of Stone Layne Baked Specialties incorporated the most intricate piping on the 3-tiered cake, which sat on top of a 2-tiered scalloped table. Our goal was to keep it minimalistic but pretty – a way to show brides that you can have a beautiful set-up in the most simple way, with bits of flowers and DIY touches.
Beautiful! Proof that all white isnt boring in the slightest :). Thanks so much for the feature!!
