From the Bride, Jessie: “We got married on June 29th, 2019 in Colorado. It was a magical dream day! Celso and I wanted every detail to reflect our style and feel like us. From the ceremony flow to the fashion and music, we put a lot of time working with each supplier to assure the effect was what we were imagining. We wanted to create a natural, creative, modern, and comfortable vibe throughout the whole day. The area of the decor that we focused on to give this vibe was flowers and color scheme because we wanted them to give off the organic/ natural feeling.
Overall, what stood out to us at the end of the day was being in a beautiful and amazing setting surrounded by our friends and families. My dress was my favorite part of the whole process. I collaborated with the Brooklyn based designer Samantha Sleeper to create an outfit that was totally unique and 100% my style. I wanted a jumpsuit for dancing and comfort and a dress for walking down the aisle, so we ended up making jumpsuit with a removable embellished tulle skirt that I wore for the majority of the day and took off when it was time to dance. I also spent a few days in Samantha’s studio sewing the embellishments onto the skirt, which helped me gain a real appreciation for the whole process and end result. The skirt had so much texture and hints of color and beading it felt like a couture art piece.
The location couldn’t have been more perfect for our wedding day. The ceremony took place at River Bend in Lyons, CO set against the St. Vrain River and red stone cliffs. The reception was at The St. Vrain in Longmont, CO, a modern and rustic wedding venue that fit our aesthetic and had plenty of space for all of our guests and a big band. “
J+C’s Rocky Mountains wedding looks like utter bliss, don’t ya think? The painterly brushstroke details, the carved bark cake stand, the tall centerpieces, the floral bridal hair accessories… we could go on forever with our favorite design moments from this breathtaking Colorado day!
