We can’t get enough of philodendron these days, and this modern shoot from J Wiley Photography, Winston & Main, and Moxie Bright Events uses lots of it in the best ways. The color palette is a simple green, white, and gold, save a sweet pop of teal dip-dyed napkins at the reception table. Consider this your mid-week palate cleanser, in the absolute best of ways!
From the designers, Winston & Main: Our styled shoot seamlessly blends tropical greens with plexiglass and marble accents for a minimal, chic, and thoroughly modern look and feel. Our on-trend approach to greenery is perfect for the minimalist bride- we’ve traded the oft-seen eucalyptus garlands for tall tropical centerpieces. A little gold spray paint ups the chic factor of some otherwise plain vessels and boom! Big, beautiful, and budget-loving!
A few fun details keep it interesting but clean and clutter free – laser cut acrylic escort cards, beautiful calligraphy, DIY dip-dyed napkins, and marble accents to name a few. The Modern, a new venue in Long Beach, provided the perfect backdrop- at once expansive and industrial, while still remaining warm and welcoming. And finally, our Real Couple models, Alpha & Tony, are just the cutest! They actually celebrated their 10 year anniversary the week of our shoot and revealed to us, mid-day, that these photos are the only wedding photos they will have ever taken! They are such lovely souls, (and so in love!), we consider it a real honor to be a small part of this chapter in their love story.
