Minnesota Hilltop Elopement Inspiration

If the ceremony arch and bouquet combination from today’s shoot by Melissa Oholendt, Munster Rose, and FAB Event Design doesn’t stop you in your tracks, well we just don’t know what to say. Us? We’re completely floored by the floral arrangements, that lace gown (and the jumpsuit!), and the delicious cocktails. Luckily we’ve got the recipes so you can whip up the yummy drinks for yourself!

From the floral designers, Munster Rose: Even though the Midwest is known for it’s harsh winters, we are lucky enough to truly get to experience all four seasons including a spectacular and prolonged fall season. October and November have seen a resurgence in popularity where we’ve seen bride & grooms take full advantage of the beautiful colors and textures that are completely unique to our autumn season.

We took our inspiration directly from the fabulous fall textures and bundled it with an epic rolling hillside elopement and chic cocktail-focused reception (because who doesn’t love a negroni in the fall?). We wanted to take the outdoor element that the Midwest is known for but turn it on it’s head and make it chic, romantic and ever so slightly poetic to play off of L.M. Montgomery’s quote in Anne of Green Gables “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” Because we are oh-so-glad we live in a world where there are Octobers.
