This editorial shot by Hayley Rae Photography hits all the marks for a pinning recipe. It’s whimsical, mid-century mod, it’s geometric and the color palette this Vancouver wedding team chose is just heavenly. Cahoots Creative Happenings took the vision and ran with it, with florals by The Flower Factory. We will leave it to event stylists from Spotlight Events to take it from here!
From the event planner and producer, Spotlight Events: This mid-century geometric-inspired wedding styled shoot was a fun, creative expression from a group of Vancouver, BC’s top wedding professional. The shoot incorporated an intimate ceremony set-up, tablescape, cake display, lounge and a beautiful real life bride and groom! The concept was to showcase the geometric trend in an energetic and classy style.
Paige Petriw of Spotlight Events (producer and visionary of the shoot) chose the geo theme and a colour pallet of mint, teal, white and gold, and happily gave free creative rein to each vendor involved to showcase their talents fabulously. Cahoots Creative Happenings (designer) built so many of the elements from scratch and brought the mid-century inspiration to the overall design. The ceremony backdrop and geo chandelier over the tablescape were all crafted out of paper by the Cahoots Creative team. The newly renovated Stanley Park Pavilion was the perfect venue to provide an elegant and clean backdrop for the design. The two-piece dress from Pure Magnolia with tulle ballgown skirt and sequin top was the perfect fun and bubbly attire for the bride, combined with the groom’s pop of colour bow tie from Beaux.
Jasmine Hoffman and her team provided hair and makeup for the bride creating a laid back glam look. The flowers by The Flower Factory were modern and classic at the same time. The three tiered cake created by The Cake and the Giraffe was stunning with a marble base and water colour painted teal on top. The hexagon detail in gold and teal brought in the energetic geo theme. The stationery was hand-crafted by Kait Creative to add the perfect final touch to the design. Rentals from A&B Partytime Rentals and Loungeworks brought style to the essential elements, including chairs and linens. Everything was captured beautifully by the talented Hayley Rae Photography (photography) and Premier Love (videography).
