Industrial Science Styled Shoot
Sit back, ladies and gents, because you’re in for a true treat. Today’s shoot might just be at the tip-top of my list for all-time favorites — everything from the hanging glass, the book art, scientific details, floral design, and the couple’s styling is at its finest. Yes, I’d say Awake Photography, Jennifer Laura Design, and Bella Bloom outdid themselves here.
From the event designer, Jennifer Laura Design: This is a styled shoot that I collaborated on with Paige from Awake Photography. We wanted to do a school, science, industrial theme that was pretty, but with a definite quirky and gritty edge. The main component of this shoot was our table- we hung the centerpiece from the ceiling and used chalk cloth to draw the place settings onto the table. We got to shoot at the Historic Gribble Stamp Co. which was very exciting – it made the perfect backdrop for this industrial shoot. We also created book art to hang from the ceiling along with all of the flowers. Test tubes, beakers, and scientific measuring vessels were all utilized as vases. We wanted a very non-floral look so ferns, billy balls, and air plants were used to create a very textural look.
