Vertical gardens, rich earth tones and edgy black tie wedding attire are just a few of the reasons it took us .0000001 seconds to fall in love with Ashlee and Ryan’s California union. Their bohemian wedding is overflowing with heartfelt details like polaroid memories and a surprise dance number choreographed by the bridal party. And if you even remotely like succulents, these images will win you over in no time!
Jonnie + Garrett Wedding Photographers could not delight us more with their moody photography style + “tears of joy” captures of the day.
And Ashlee’s effortless hair + makeup look from Design Visage is everything we want to emulate on the daily!
Impeccable coordination from Leslye Hansen if we do say so ourselves – how fab is the mix of industrial + boho details?!
Flowers Etc provided the desert petals with major pizazz – YAS, honey!
This cake from New Orleans Sweet Treats is cause for celebration in itself!
From the event coordinator, Leslye Hansen: Let’s start with the venue. This Culver City gem named SmogShoppe is the perfect blend of modern, bohemian, classic & cozy! Our couples “I Do’s” were said in front of this gorgeous succulent wall and a cozy “study” sets the back drop of our sweetheart table. This couple wanted to pull in their families roots adding a twist of the Boho Vibes in with a southern Tex Mex feel. When choosing their foods, they wanted them rich with their growing up. For apps, we chose gator bites, mini chicken & waffles with maple syrup & a shrimp creole served in mini pots. Delicious & oh so fun to eat! Then on to our Tex Mex dinner of authentic taco’s rice & beans. You cannot forget about the Kings cake that was served along with mini cobblers & cookies. Pops of color in all the florals & a hanging floral chandelier set the reception for a cool modern bohemian day!
