Classic styles and clean designs are the first words that come to mind with this Caroline Ro-photographed wedding in Charleston. With Sweetgrass Social working their coordinating and design magic, Blair and Jordin stuck to a very becoming color palette of white and green for their venue’s aesthetic. Branch Design Studio took charge of all the pretty florals, sticking close to the elegant setting of this southern affair.
From the photographer, Caroline Ro: The impeccable style of Blair and Jordin’s wedding is no mistake: the two met in NYC at a conference for work with Ralph Lauren. It wasn’t until Jordin moved to NYC years later that he and Blair crossed paths again and started their story together. After dating for some time, Jordin surprised Blair with a chauffeured ride around the city to get her nails done, followed by a map she’d need to follow to get to her next location. Little did she know that Jordin would be at the end of that hunt in Central Park with rose petals sprinkled on the ground and a ring in his hand.
Although the two moved to the West Coast for job opportunities (Blair transferred over to working with Louis Vuitton), they knew they wanted to return to Blair’s East Coast roots for their wedding. Wanting their guests to be comfortable but also enjoy the experience and beauty only a city like Charleston can offer, Blair and Jordin chose a waterside plantation for their celebration. Greenery ran the length of their three long farm-style tables for dinner, along with gold flatware and table numbers. Blair’s childhood pup, Belle assumed the role of flower girl, escorted down the aisle by Blair’s dapper young nephew, Harrison and loved all the attention she got along the way. After exchanging their vows, guests watched the sun set over the Ashley River while dancing up a storm to Super Deluxe, who was staged in front of a beautifully draped wall adorned with eucalyptus wreaths and gold pendant lights. The only thing that overshadowed this duo’s beautiful day was their considerate and thoughtful spirits; every vendor agreed that Blair and Jordin were one of the nicest couples to have worked with and served. Here’s to you, Blair and Jordin; all of us love you!
