Gold and Greenery Garden Wedding

Today’s wedding is proof of a bride who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. From the greenery bouquet to the decor to the show-stopping wedding cake, bride Angela and her friends and family managed to pull it off with ease. Elaine K Garland Photography captured the day and all the greenery and gold goodness!

From the photographer, Elaine K Garland Photography: Alex and Angela are laid back, sweet, and love the outdoors–which made this garden wedding the perfect representation of who they are. In order to pull off this elaborate DIY wedding, their families rallied together and created some of the most stunning details. From the florals, to the centerpieces, signage, arch, and light up pillars at the reception… all were made with love from various family members and friends. Angela, a pastry chef, designed and made the 7 tier fondant covered styrofoam cake model for the dessert table. She made the model well in advance in order to manage her own last minute bridal details. She did, however, bake delicious sheet cakes and sweets to serve guests at the wedding.
