We’ll always love seeing a bit of gold, but we love it even more when it’s paired with bright gem toned colors. Today’s wedding from Gina Meola Photography, Outstanding Occasions, and AZ Petal Pusher has just the right mix of metallic and bright hues, and the icing on the cake has to be the lush floral design throughout the ceremony and reception!
From the wedding planners, Outstanding Occasions: Classic beauty with a modern twist took the day with a romantic ceremony floral design and bright reception color palette, as Alex and Jason celebrated their love at The Boulders, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Scottsdale. The ceremony was adorned with breathtaking draped floral pieces, surrounded by a stunning floral altar runner. On either side of the altar stood pedestals with overflowing lush pastel roses.
After ceremony, guests made their way to a cocktail hour that was designed using unique and sophisticated pieces. The tables were decked with assorted vintage cobalt blue goblets with bright pink garden roses, ranunculus and dahlias, with a touch of greenery. As guests noshed on hors d’oeuvres and sipped signature cocktails, they were also invited to step in to the festive Self Portrait Station, and leave a fun photo and note behind for Alex and Jason. When it was time to make way to the reception, guests found their seating assignments by way of a large escort display featuring vintage gold ornate frames with beautiful fuchsia floral tucked throughout.
The reception was like entering a golden dream filled with pops of bright pink and orange florals. Low gold floral vases surrounded by textured votives and high gold candelabras filled with rich hydrangeas, roses and floating blooms alternated on each table. We loved creating an environment that combined the traditional, classic feel while bringing a modern touch through each place setting. To end the night, guests were treated to the most elegant s’mores display featuring gold stands with hanging crystals, and a gold gilded marshmallow display.
