Garden Queensland Wedding

You could say that today’s wedding was a long time in the making. Chelsea and Beau have known each other since primary school, gave birth to a beautiful daughter Arabella (who you’ll spy as a flower girl), and even had their primary school principal act as their Celebrant while they exchanged vows. Bek Grace did a phenomenal job of capturing all the day’s details, from the watercolor bridesmaids dresses to the pastel floral arrangements from B Sweet Flowers.

From the bride, Chelsea: I love the vintage look. I would call the style of the day a Romantic Vintage Garden Wedding! We wanted the day to be about love, the love we have for each and our little girl Arabella. Our primary school principal was our Celebrant so it made it so special as Beau and I had known each other a long time. It was an amazing day filled with love, laughter, happiness a lot of dancing and quite a few bubbles.

Our colour story was using pastels of Peach, Lilac and White. Romantic, Vintage, Effortless, Whimsical. We sourced things from all around the world to get our look. All the main things for our day were all locally sourced by local vendors this is important to us as I am a small business owner too. Some items were DIY by Picolo and Poppi and the rest were bought/hired by myself and handmaidens in Australia. We were married in front of the lace backdrop made by my Dad.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? We tried to be as casual about it all as possible, it made it easier if things needed to be changed or didn’t work out exactly as planned. We planned well in advance so the week before there were just a few minor details that needed to be finalised which was lovely.
