Modern Parker Palm Springs Wedding

Palm Springs weddings — how can they be topped? When it’s a wedding at The Parker, well, it just can’t. Carrie and Jeff brought a certified A-team on board to make their dream wedding day a reality, a team that includes Lauren Scotti, Bliss Events, and Artisan Events. This beautiful day is chock full of sweet details to behold, so make sure you catch them all!

From the bride, Carrie: A small, intimate, simple rustic wedding filled with lots of love, family & friends. We wanted it to be a fun party! We didn’t really have a color scheme, since we were getting married in Palm Springs we were inspired by the colors of the desert: blush & sage. We made our table numbers and reception cards for our guests to find their table. I pulled most of my inspiration from Pinterest and etsy.

Floral recipe: My bouquet and floral arrangements were grounded in Proteas. I love that they are a desert flower with a strong magenta color way that would complement the succulents that we wanted for our centerpieces. We found out wooden centerpieces (vintage Chinese rice bowls) at the Pasadena Flea market.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Start with a budget first (don’t forget to factor in service charge and taxes into your budget as I did not & it was a last minute unpleasant surprise right before the wedding), then chose the location. Be flexible with dates if you fall in love with a location.
