Atelier Pronovias 2018 at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

A little over a week ago, we made our way to Barcelona to catch a glimpse of the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection. Pronovias has wowed us through the years, but I have to admit this collection blew us away, from the incredible venue to the details and accents in each and every gown.

Over 2,000 guests were present for the show at the National Art Museum of Catalonia, including socialites, celebrities around the world from the worlds of fashion and film, plus press and buyers from all over. The theme of the evening was WISH, with a large wishing well and fountain at the center of it all. Victoria’s Secret angels Romee Strijd, Martha Hunt, and Cindy Bruna along with the international top model Bregje Heinen shined more than ever on the mirrored runway.

Model extraordinaire Kate Upton made it to the show, and here’s what she had to say about the collection: “Pronovias is an emblematic brand and thanks to seeing this fashion show I’ve been able to see that they have different patterns and styles to fit all kinds of brides. The collection is beautiful, full of details and very sexy.” Sexy, indeed! Each one of these gowns is built to show off the bride’s true beauty, with silhouettes to flatter every woman.

Hervé Moreau, the firm’s creative director, remarked that the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection “is a very special new collection, for which I was inspired by a magical wishing well where the bride’s sensuality and radiance is reflected by jeweled and embroidered embellishments. The water is a key element and the liquid movement is evident in the gowns’ various volumes and patterns.”

Through the catwalk presentation, guests discovered the latest bridal fashion trends from the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection with dress proposals that play with silhouettes and innovative designs that fill the collection with possibilities, from mermaid and flared designs to very full ball gowns. The dresses, crafted in organza, crepe, soft satin and French lace, are finished with white gemstone embroideries that give the collection great sophistication and delicateness.
