Christine and Mark’s French country estate wedding is pure sophistication! This gorgeous venue provided the perfect location for a romantic and bright wedding inspired by one of our favorite Disney classics. We love that the abundant greenery made such a lovely backdrop for the vibrant and bold pop of color from the florals. Ready to see a medley of pink, lavender and antique white?
The level of sweetness in these light + airy images from film photographer and Ruffled member, Maria Mack Photography, is off the charts!
From the bride, Christine: For my wedding inspiration, I wanted to incorporate the natural elements already present at our rustic, elegant venue, Hotel Du Village. The contrast between dark wood and light stone, coupled with the lush greenery provided the perfect romantic backdrop we wanted on our wedding day. We tied in that same greenery along with some lavender sprigs for our invitation design. For florals, I knew I wanted bold, summery pops of colors with lots of textures, and I am so happy I had the opportunity to work with my close friend and florist, Amanda from Twisted Willow Flowers, to have the wedding florals of my dreams. Since Hotel Du Village is a historic French country estate, we also pulled in elements from one of our favorite Disney movies, “Beauty and the Beast.” We incorporated gold candelabras on our tables, included a solitary red rose encased in a glass dome next to our guest book, and our cake topper read “Tale as Old as Time.” Surrounded by our closest family and friends, and with the help of our very talented vendors, our wedding day exceeded all expectations!
