Victorian style is always full of flair and such creative inspiration, from the colors and the floral arrangements to the concepts. The ideas are endless and Emcee Studio Photographie captured such a stunning take on this always-breathtaking trend. Complete with a divine high-necked dress and a delicious naked wedding, Wood and Rose added to the mix with their centerpieces and a dreamy jewel-toned bouquet made of roses and greenery that looks freshly-plucked from an English garden.
From the photographer, Emcee Studio Photographie: This photo shoot is inspired by a deep vibrant color palette with golden undertone against a nostalgic backdrop that contain pieces carefully curated by Fox and Finch Vintage Rentals. This shoot is designed to have an ethereal texture, accentuated by Victorian style details such as the bridal gown and cocktail dress. Wood and Rose puts together a dazzling bridal bouquet that mesmerizes you with luscious roses on a wild, unruly yet stunning base made of peppermint willow, leucadendron, fern and eucalyptus. The stern but elegant thistles add daintiness to the arrangement, bringing delicacy to the bouquet without taking away the fullness of the more voluminous flowers.
The invitation suite is a strikingly beautiful and delicate creation by Christie Howton of Papertree Studio. The delicate calligraphy emulates the graceful definitions of the thistles as well as the exquisite contour of the lovely West Elm candle holders. Subdued navy gray, coupled with cotton paper’s ruffled edging are perfect ingredients for a helpless romantic’s recipe for wedding stationary. The table setup is really something simple, something sweet for a carefree, lighthearted and whimsical bride. There is something so earthy and darling about a silvery blue fig and a sprig of rosemary on a plate setting. The mishmash collection of vintage chairs bring even more “whims” to the table while maintaining the genteel feel of the setup.
