Ethereal Bridal Shoot Inspired by the Clouds with Claire Pettibone Lace Gowns

wedding bouquet and lace wedding shoes

What better way to spend the whole day than by being in the clouds? And today’s ethereal bridal shoot, planned by Camryn Brook Events, brings us closer to this dream. From the heavenly floral arrangements teeming with baby’s breath by Splendor of Eden to the bride looking like a goddess with intricately-made lace wedding dresses and veil from Claire Pettibone, OBVI, we’re begging for more! In the meantime, let’s savor these images by Geneva Boyett.

Ethereal Bridal Shoot Inspired By Clouds

From the planner, Camryn Brook Events:
This bridal shoot was inspired by the light and airiness of clouds and was designed to feel ultra-ethereal and dreamlike. I believe it would be a beautiful addition to Ruffled Blog because it speaks to the couple who enjoy unique designs and incorporating thoughtful details. It was photographed by Geneva Boyett on film to perfectly capture the light and keep the softness of the design consistent.

One of my favorite personalized details is the calligraphed love letter on handmade paper (it even has feathers pressed in it!) by Isidore Augustine. This showpiece rounded out the romantic feel for the shoot.wedding invitation suite with pressed feathers

The floral design by Splendor of Eden feels natural and organic, yet a bit whimsical with the unexpected use of baby’s breath in the installation. The bride gave off regal vibes with two intricate lace gowns and veil by Claire Pettibone styled with Maria Elena crowns and earrings.

I decided on a less traditional ring by Susie Saltzman where the main stone lays horizontal on her finger to inspire those who want something a little bit different.

I chose to have the shoot at Company 251, a venue outside Chicago for its refined space designed with weddings in mind and upper level for portraits to show how a raw space can certainly be beautiful.
