An absolutely stunning and enthralling wedding in Italy’s always-gorgeous Umbria region? Why yes, please! Photographer Cinzia Bruschini set our Tuscany-loving hearts aflame after she sent us this beauty, and if I had to describe the whole wedding, I would just say let your pinning commence. The wedding of Valeria and Pier Luigi took place in a castle near the Tiber River, and it is your quintessential Italian outdoor wedding with spacious tables and some of the most delicious-looking food I have ever laid my eyes on. It’s complete with lovely punches of blush pink and wine-colored red blooms from Il Fiora di Paola in the midst of a neutral color palette designed by BiancoAntico.
From the photographer, Cinzia Bruschini: The wedding of Valeria and Pier Luigi is a classic Italian, elegant wedding with a vintage touch. The venue was an amazing castle on one of the most beautiful hills dominating the valley of the river Tiber. It is formed by an important villa, resulting from its sixteenth century refurbishment of a late medieval and renaissance castle, complete with panoramic terraces and lush hanging gardens.
The wedding was a religious ceremony celebrated in the private Castle’s Chapel. There was a reception for 300 guests; fantastic tables were set up with brass candlesticks under a magical roof of outdoor string lights, and a very romantic and scenographic cake cutting. Valeria and Pier Luigi are a very charming couple. The bride was wearing a dreamy Vera Wang dress and the groom wore an impeccably suave suit by Brunello Cucinelli.
