Elegant North Carolina Wedding
Blue Label
This week’s Blue Label feature is shining the spotlight on Nancy Ray Photography. The groom is from the Dominican Republic and the bride is from North Carolina, so their ceremony was in both English and Spanish. This multicultural wedding was also planned beautifully by A Southern Soiree, with gold touches and twinkling details to make anyone fall in love.

From Nancy Ray: Leah and Raúl had the sweetest wedding day, full of soft colors, a mountain landscape, gold glitter and white florals. Yes, it may have been a little rainy and cloudy, but it was so beautiful. It was an intimate wedding at Raffaldini Vineyards in rural North Carolina, which was the perfect venue for them. Leah’s family lives on a farm very close by, and it was so quiet and peaceful. I loved how relaxed they both were, even when it was sprinkling outside, they wore big smiles on their faces. Raúl is from the Dominica, so having his entire family there made their multicultural wedding lots of fun.Their bilingual ceremony meant so much to their family and guests, and Leah surprised Raúl by saying her vows to him in Spanish! It meant the world to him. They even had a special “ring passing” tradition in the middle of the ceremony, where each guests holds their rings and prays a blessing over the couple.
