Edgy Bohemian Wedding Inspiration

If ever I could step inside a styled wedding shoot, I’d pick this one from Veronica Varos Photography. It’s the ultimate bohemian fairytale with enough flowers from Mt. Lebanon Floral to last a lifetime, and the perfect unique venue, Iron Eden, whose iron pieces provide a stark contrast to the soft beauty of the gowns and floral details. This here is true love.

From Ansley, owner at Bliss Events Ltd.: We “described the inspiration for the shoot as ‘Eclectic, Edgy & Bohemia.’ Iron Eden is the perfect description of our shoot as Eden means, ‘any place of complete delight, bliss and peace.’ Personally, I loved the fact that we all wanted to create a dream.”

From Carmel, owner at Mt. Lebanon Floral: I knew that head wreaths were going to play a part. I wanted that vibe to be represented, to be eclectic and loose and to illustrate that a wedding can be part fantasy and part reality; fantasy but not the princess look. I wanted to reach the bride who cannot be pigeon-holed. I visualized bold and textured and soft at the same time. That’s why so many different textures came through in the final product. Even the location supported this with a sort of ‘nest theme’, an iron nest. It shouts ‘one of a kind’, even the gold dress underlines that. Our teamwork was flawless. I think people want something new, more free form, more organic. To me, it’s fantasy. It’s for a girl who really, on that day, is living a little bit of a fantasy. It’s magical, almost Mid Summer Nights Dream like. It’s the day that you should absolutely be able to live a fantasy. If not then, when?

From Erin, owner of Glitter & Grit: For the shoot I chose gowns by Lindee Daniel, who is the epitome of eco luxury. Her designs evoke elegance with an edge by weaving together sustainable fabrics and endless details. Her gowns are created in Los Angeles, using exquisite and exclusive wild and peace (cruelty-free) silks, organic cottons, and other natural fabrics. Colors are either from the natural color of the fiber, or by a natural dyeing process. The sleek designs of Nicole Miller are a perfect fit for the no-fuss bride. Look for vintage-inspired pieces with lace, beading, and magnificent draping from Nicole Miller. Her gowns provide versatility for any bride while remaining effortlessly chic. The Nicole Miller Bridal Collection is handmade in New York and are made of the best quality fabrics.
