Eclectic Barr Mansion Wedding
Almost any wedding at Austin’s Barr Mansion is going to be a winner, especially when it’s photographed by the incomparable Alixann Loosle Photography. But when you add in a reception with mood lighting and a bride wearing a purple patterned Zac Posen gown, I’m going to be floored. Take special note of Kaki and Robbie’s ceremony under the trees – one of our favorites this year.
From the bride, Kaki: We wanted a Soulful and Spiritual gathering of friends and family witnessing and supporting us in the commitment of our vows and celebration. It was a non traditional wedding celebration, marching to the beat of our own drums and our day was a true reflection of just that. Our theme was Victorian Vogue. Oriental rugs, church pews, religious candles etc… Evoked the feeling of a catholic cathedral, set amongst the trees. No color scheme.
Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Plan and save for last minute spending FRENZIES! Oh, and enjoy it, the day entirely. Take a moment to look around you, surrounded by your friends and family, and cherish that moment. It goes by so very very quickly.

What a gorgeous ceremony!
Love this!! Beautiful Wedding…and I love it when a bride steps outside the box like this. Her dress is beautiful.
That dress is so crazy cool- I LOVE the flowers!!
First time I saw a wedding gown like that. Cute 🙂
That dress!! Beyond beautiful
Oh what a gorgeous couple! I love it when couples do things their own way, especially in the dress department. Wow.
I shouldn’t be surprised that a gown that beautiful was made by my favorite designer, Zac Posen. Twenty years from now their guests will still be talking about that gorgeous dress!
This ceremony is never forgetful. It’s a gorgeous because Party All Night!
Very pretty… love the dramatic tone of this wedding!
