Early Fall Wedding Ideas

Have we ever mentioned how much we love a fall color palette? Today’s styled shoot mixes rich burgundy with soft purples, gold, and ivory with just the right pops of peach for a scene that makes us ready for cocoa and blankets, but not before inspiring us with tons of new ideas for autumn celebrations. Christa Breaugh Photography, Plum and Poppy, and Isibeal Studios were the perfect team to bring everything to life!

From the photographer, Christa Breaugh Photography: The most beautiful time of year in Indiana comes during the fleeting weeks between summer and fall when the days are warm and the nights are cool. For this shoot, we really wanted to play up that Indian Summer sweet spot after wedding season comes to a close, but before the holiday rush takes over. Warm, ethereal tones mixed with modern gold and quartz details helped to keep the look feminine but fresh. Flowing dresses, draping linens, and a light breeze brought a sense of movement to the shoot, while the nearby pond and open spaces added to the whimsical atmosphere.

Traders Point Creamery offered so many beautiful backdrops for us to bring this vision to life, not to mention their amazing selection of farm-to-table dining. We wished we could stay all night and take advantage of the campfire pit under the stars – this place is seriously a dream! The entire Indianapolis community is filled with so many beautiful places & souls, and I am so grateful for the talented group of vendors that came together to make this shoot as dreamy as it was. It’s always so sweet to be in the presence of other creatives, and every person’s contribution was so important!

This floral table runner filled with roses seems to go on forever, and we’re not mad about it — the perfect shade of peach brightens up any table!

  • Thank you SO much for the feature! This whole process has been such a dream for me. Couldn’t have done it without such an awesome group of vendors! I couldn’t be happier with what we were able to create together.
