A Couple’s Shower Inspiration that’s Joanna and Chip Approved
Truth be told, we’ll never get tired of looking at this couple’s shower inspiration in Waco, Texas over and over again. Bright, airy, cozy vibes + sumptuous foods make us weak in the knees! Thanks to the incredible team of wedding vendors for putting all these things together and to the real-life couple and their best friends for making this styled shoot look so natural. Now, let’s all enjoy the dreamy couple’s shower inspiration captured by Courtney Leigh, shall we?
From Natalie Dawley of Two Be Wed: This was an inspiration shoot with a real-life engaged couple and their best friends! Just two weeks ago they married in Italy. The chemistry amongst this group caught on camera was totally authentic even though it was a styled shoot. The charm of an airy Waco home, coupled with an array of impeccable farm-to-table dishes, where guests gather on a warm Texas evening makes for the best way to celebrate love in style. Mint juleps are served outdoors as flower girls play in the grass and guests pass around appetizers and fond stories of the couple.
Whether you’re having a small intimate wedding, a couple’s shower or even a Friendsgiving, Two Be Wed designed a multi-faceted dinner that Joanna and Chip would approve!
Can we take a minute to appreciate the beautiful, ruffle sleeve dress of the bride and the trendy, casual outfits of the bridesmaids?
Texas is really hot through November so our early fall wear is called “transitional” because we can’t pull out the sweaters just yet! Saltflat styled the group in early autumn appropriate wardrobe.
Some cool facts of the sumptuous meal of the day. – Chef Nicole McDuffie is a menu creator at Magnolia and helped with Joanna’s recent cookbook. And look what she prepared for this intimate backyard wedding styled shoot. Mouth-watering dishes fit for royalties!
Inside, the relaxed refinement is mirrored through family-style dinner plates, low tables, and textured floor pillows. Warm tones with hints of blue are seen in the textiles, paper goods, and table setting. Touches of reclaimed wood, leather, and vintage fabrics add a casual element to this luxe, Waco farm style feel.
As the sun begins to set, guests carry their energy indoors, settling around the long table. The laughter continues through the evening as smiles exchange over the delicate floral centerpieces.
This intimate scene is what backyard wedding dreams are made of. – We totally agree!
