Romantic Chic Atlanta Wedding
Georgia weddings are as pretty as they come. Combine southern charm with the talents of Kyle Hale and the results are magical. Lindsay and Jason chose King Plow Arts Center for the ceremony and reception, a turn-of-the-century warehouse full of character. They contrasted the industrial setting with soft colors and delicate materials, and I love how it turned out — just wait till you see their altar! Lindsay and her bridesmaids and close family had brunch together, an idea totally worth stealing. I can’t think of a better way to start your wedding day than with your closest friends and family. From Lindsay: I did not want the day to feel like a production. I wanted it to feel real and I wanted it to feel like us. The vibe was more causal and relaxed and we achieved this through an informal elements kept the guest list small. Only the necessities, no fluff. Even though we kept things simple, we kept our wedding intimate and special by way of subtle details, unique decor, and personal touches. I really like when things look like they should just be there and not forced to be there.
I did not want to decide on a theme necessarily because it felt very limiting, so I started with a color palette. We used a lot of neutral tones and added in splashes of turquoise, yellow, and green with pops of orange. Mostly the color in the wedding came out through the flowers and paper goods. Nature was something I kept in mind while designing the wedding. I kept thinking what would be natural. I didn’t want anything to feel forced. Since I am a graphic designer, I designed all of the wedding stationery. Including save the dates, invitations, programs, seating cards, guestbook poster, and favors. I also designed a chevron table runner for the estate table.
Any advice for brides planning their weddings now?
Plan sooner, rather than later. You don’t want to be stressed in the end. I saved a lot of things to the end and it definitely caught up with me. Especially if you are designing things yourself. My mom was amazing with helping the day come together. I really couldn’t have done it without her. She tried to keep me on a timeline as best as she could and I wish I would have followed more closely in the beginning.

Magical indeed! Especially the gigantic cake and the table numbers. Were guests able to take them home? Just curious!
There’s just something about this wedding that gives warmth to the heart. Maybe it’s the cute pictures of the couple or the colorful centerpiece. All I can say is that this wedding is one of my favorites
