From the photographer, Ashley Rae Studio: The Bonneville Salt Flats is so pristine and perfect, but is also beautiful and mysterious – there’s always an undertone of the unknown. Pulling from the natural backdrop of this geographical wonder, and the effects of it’s sunset for inspiration, we paired the design with clean and sleek elements. So we had to keep the natural pinkish blush hue of the salt and sunset, add in the incredible spectrum of blues, but needed the cocos, charcoals, and brownish burgundies the mountains and the sunset adds.

Since the salt flats is high in texture, we needed the design to reflect that. High textural blooms, greenery, and dried elements come together to create jaw dropping centerpieces and ceremony installations. Mixed acrylic and glass vintage beverage ware juxtapose seamlessly with smooth and sleek china and flatware. Texture in the velvet tablecloths, and distressed gunmetal chairs further the tablescape aesthetic.

To also compliment the Salt Flats, we can’t forget the mix of elegant and ethereal and smooth and clean we needed to achieve. An elegant and clean paper suite featuring custom artwork, vivid and whimsical colored suit, incredibly sleek and sophisticated gown, with a positively ethereal tone on tone bouquet pull everything together.

The brides look was inspired by the flats themselves – white salt stretching fo miles in all directions. Her beautiful raven hair loosely but delicately styled into an effortless bun with sexy and natural looking makeup. And we love the mix of the dark and the light, the vintage and the modern for the picturesque cake! Taking a walk across the delicate salt, hand and hand with the one you love, into the sunset as a perfect end to a perfect day.
