This boho Atlanta wedding in an industrial warehouse has all of the details we love about a fall wedding with a hint of Southern charm, so when Jasmyn and Cecil started to work with Organized Occasions, they knew they wanted a Southern bohemian wedding. From the bride….Why did you pick your venue and what did you love most about it? Cecil’s cousin recommended the venue to us. As soon as we entered the tall glass doors and turned into the reception hall, we fell in love! The high wooden beamed ceilings and metal chandeliers gave the venue a rustic villa vibe, which was a nice change from many of the other venues we had visited. I loved that we were able to have so much freedom when it came to decor and creativity.

What was your vision for your wedding? I’d say my vision was Southern Bohemian. Being that my husband and I are both from the South, we wanted to stay true to our southern roots while also keeping things fresh and elevated. My floral palette was full of rich colors, which paired well with the jewel-toned bridesmaid dresses. Instead of having a traditional photo booth, we laid out a vintage polaroid camera and set up a corner of the venue with retro couches, morrocan rugs and poufs, etc to let us our guests have fun and style their own photos. We wanted the space to feel intimate so we turned the lights down and relied on the amber candlelights and uplights to enhance the room. For our menu, we served some southern favorites like shrimp & grits, pulled pork sliders, and chicken & waffle appetizers.
