Bohemian Bridesmaid Brunch Party
We think styled shoots like this should definitely be a thing. When putting together this shoot, Callie Hobbs Photography and Yonder Floral and Decor House wanted to think out of the box and construct an editorial different from the traditional bride and groom shoot. As soon as Callie and Gretchen found an engaged model, they thought to do a glam shoot with her and her girlfriends, dressed to the nines in boho chic gowns and gorgeous hair and makeup. What a fun concept to tackle with your own bridesmaids!
From the photographer, Callie Hobbs Photography: When putting this shoot together with Gretchen of Yonder Floral and Decor House, we wanted to do something different than the standard bride and groom session. Gretchen was the brains behind this magical day! She actually found a model who is soon to be married and then we brought in two of her girlfriends to have a bridal brunch! To make it even more fun we turned it into a photo session with a bride and her best friends! Who doesn’t want a chance to get all dolled up with a fabulous braid and flawless makeup?!
Gretchen created the beautiful florals and then also made these gorgeous greenery belts for her besties in the ethereal gowns. It was the perfect touch! I could not get over how beautiful everything came together! As the girls were blasting and dancing to music, it made me wish we did something this fun before my wedding! I loved the table setting on the floor with an over hanging woven fixture. I mean wow! Gretchen is truly a talented human being! Along with the tee-pee and the fun rugs she set up in such an industrial, clean space, that made it stunning! Blanc could not have been a better location for such a fun and light-hearted event. I feel like the engagement period just flies by so to anyone in this phase of life, don’t let it pass you by! Take advantage of it and gather with people you love every chance you can!
