Hello!
I am Dimitris, a photographer born in the island of Crete, Greece.
I like traveling and good wine. I spend most of my working period around Greek islands (Santorini, Crete and Mykonos), where I love photographing people that are willing to share some love!
I like using the unique light that Greece has to offer, without adding any artificial lighting, that will make the pictures look unreal.
That’s why I like to produce vibrant and bright images using this light and some simple posing.
I like to concentrate more to the feeling than to any other thing because pictures without it are empty and flat.
The main body of my work focuses on wedding events and lifestyle projects, because I love shooting people and capturing their emotions.
My work has been published on various blogs but Ruffled is one of my favourite by far, so
I am very happy to join this community as a vendor.
In the winter I like to do many things. I like to organise and present photography workshops.
This is something I really enjoy doing and sharing my knowledge and experience with other people, because knowledge worths nothing if it is not shared.
Also I like travelling very much. I always try to visit places that are inspiring for me and can make me a better person.
In my bag you will find my three Nikon cameras.
A recent Nikon D750, a Nikon D700 and an oldie but goldie Nikon FM2 film camera with a big variety of lenses.
My motto about photography is something that describes me as a photographer and as a human being: «Simplicity is more».
And according to Kandinshky, simple is always the harder.
