Autumn Lakeside Proposal

This styled proposal shoot from Bradley James Photography and The Day’s Design came together as soon as the designer spied a gorgeous invitation suite from Wedding Paper Divas. As soon as we saw the stationery for ourselves, we understood the temptation! The scene begins with a romantic indoor proposal, followed by lakeside portraits just as beautiful as the happy couple themselves.

From the event designer, The Day’s Design: The days are getting shorter, the air is getting cooler and the world is taking on a golden brown hue. We’re welcoming autumn rains, velvet touches and evenings lit by candlelight. It’s a clear sign that engagement season is just around the corner. When I saw Wedding Paper Diva’s dreamy invitation suite with its fairytale-like lake scene the whole story just came to life. With mixed metallic and touches of grey blue, we imagined a lakeside story filled with sequins and wheat grass, where rustic meets elegance and love was surely to thrive. The perfect place to start to the journey to “I do”.
