Al Fresco Vow Renewal Celebration

If this isn’t the sweetest vow renewal celebration, then I don’t know what is. LB Events designed the perfect day to celebrate Ned and Sarah’s 10 year anniversary with their beautiful children, closest friends, and family. The layer of textures and with a color palette of indigo blues, copper, and terracotta, this al fresco vow renewal celebration is brightening this chilly winter day.

To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, our friends Ned and Sarah held a vow renewal ceremony and dinner party at a friend’s ranch in Carpinteria. They are a fun-loving and laid back couple who have made a wonderful life for themselves as artists–Sarah is an actress known for her stints on NBC’s Night Shift and Brothers and Sisters, and Ned played drums for the band Rooney and now plays Mick Fleetwood in a Fleetwood Mac tribute band (!!!).

We wanted the design to reflect their life as Californians and artists so we went for a casual, boho vibe that would feel timeless and unfussy. We set up the dinner party under the grape arbor, and kept the tablescape minimal with pops of color and texture. Viva Voce designed florals in a neutral palette and wove floral garlands that perfectly set off Sarah’s dreamy dress by Odylyne the Ceremony. Food was served family style and guests lounged and watched the sunset sipping wine from the property’s vineyard. It was the perfect day that encapsulated who the couple are and have become over time!
