A Stunning Organic Farm Wedding On Martha’s Vineyard

From the rolling green pastures to the quaint farm buildings, every detail exuded rustic elegance and old-world charm. And of course, the lovely couple’s love and joy were the cherry on top. This couple spent many days in the beginning of their relationship exploring Martha’s Vineyard, noting that some of their fondest memories revolved around their mutual love of the outdoors. They first met during a class in undergrad at Boston College. A year after meeting, they began dating and moved to New York City together. They returned to Boston in 2020, where Tony proposed to Alison on his fishing boat, romantically on the waters of Boston Harbor.
Inspired by the incredible beauty and history of Martha’s Vineyard, Alison and Tony planned a stylishly chic wedding held at The Allen Farm. This 100-acre working organic farm offered waterfront views, rustic stone walls, and a 200-year-old farmhouse.
The ceremony was held in a serene pasture overlooking the waterfront. It was simple and timeless, as the couple exchanged their vows underneath an altar lavishly covered in florals.
Allison remembered her walk down the aisle, sweeping through the farm, and looking out at the view of Lucy Vincent Beach. Floral arrangements for their day focused heavily on a wildflower theme that reflected the organic nature of the farm.
There was a range of larger florals to small, freshly cut stems in bud vases, grown locally just a few miles down the road. Alison’s Marchesa Notte gown was a breath of whimsy. It was feminine and airy, which matched the energy of their wedding day. That evening, a harvest moon illuminated the night sky, reflecting happily from the nearby waters.
