European After Wedding Session with Soft Neutrals
If you’re looking for some fresh wedding inspiration that’s calm, peaceful, serene, still… we’ll help you find it. Starting with this after wedding session where authenticity and poetic beauty meet. You may find yourself distracted all day by the bridal gown with a fluttery bodice and beaded embellishments. Or perhaps it’ll be the dried leaf backdrop lit by natural light and vanilla bean colored candles. For us, it was the beautifully intricate wedding cake that echoes the artistic nature of French moldings.
If the idea of slow living could be translated to film, well this would be it. So we were pretty delighted when we saw these soft, ethereal images from Germany-based photographer, Tanja Kibogo.
The organic floral designs by Grace and Flowers are equally as entrancing – we’d never let go of that bouquet swaddled for a moment with trailing ribbons from Seidenband.
The bride’s Rococo-style updo by Michelle Weyand von Glowreich brings a sparkle to our eyes too.
And paired with a sweeping vintage-inspired bridal gown from Rara Avis, this European look is something we’ll never get over.
From the photographer, Tanja Kibogo: A very pretty, classic romantic afterwedding portrait session shot on film and digi in a studio. The bride is a cake designer and wanted cakes and raw wild flowers to be included in the shoot as well.
From the bride, Süße Poesie: With this shoot, I wanted to express our love of delicacies (and food in general) in a minimalistic and artistic way, coupled with a touch of romance and enough space for the “raw elements”. My passion is earthy tones, delicate fabrics, and antiques that tell their own story. All these elements should be reflected in our After Wedding Shoot. Here, especially for the table scene, only delicate branches should be chosen as a decoration, so that the stone cake, which consists of two individual cakes, can come into their own. The glass elements let branches and cake come to the forefront.
In order to maintain our relationship, undisturbed eating together once a day is very important to us. On the culinary journey, we also like to go on our country trips. The inspiration for our After Wedding Shoot sprang, like most inspirations for my cakes, mostly from a feeling, or an “inner” melody, which are for me directional for the underlying mood.
Seriously, this cake detail from Süße Poesie is unreal.
Love minimalist wedding design as much as we do? You’ll want to check out this fine art tablescape inspiration with buttery hues and a feast we’re still drooling over.
