Today’s whimsical spring wedding with nods the fairytales we all know and love has totally stolen our hearts. From the enchanting garden flowers in pink, periwinkle and cornflower blue to the horse-drawn carriage, we are simply in awe. There’s a soft glow about this entire day, and the criss-cross ceiling beams at the ceremony are enough to make you gasp, “wowzers”. From the photographer, Erin Wilson Photography: When the bride, Amelia, inquired with me originally she told me that her dream was to have a wedding with an enchanted and whimsical feel like the way you feel when you watch Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. She said it was really important for her get married at this quaint little chapel in the woods and for the entire day to feel light-hearted, moody tones, playful, whimsical and fun. It was like a fairytale! Her wedding designer helped incorporate her vision of that Cinderella fairytale, Lord of the Ring vibes and that enchanted feeling when you watch Harry Potter in the most perfect way. Their reception was at a haunted ballroom at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs. This ballroom was the perfect location for that look and feel the bride and groom had in their head. It was full of elegant chandeliers, big windows and rich wood tones. The design was to fill the room with colorful jewel tone florals, black candles, books upon books (which the bride loves), unicorns, tiny enchanted Cinderella pumpkins and one of personal favorites beauty and the beast glass covered florals. It was truly an enchanted dream! The bride found the most magical Cinderella dress designed by Ines Di Santo. She truly looked magical. When she traveled between locations she also wore a lacy cape which looked beautiful. Every element of their day was so perfectly planned out and magical. They danced the night away and soaked up every second and were whisked away by a beautiful little vintage black car as all their families waved goodbye!
