Black and White Wedding with Edgy Details and Modern Acrylic Signage
Brittanie and Kevin’s wedding tells it like it is. Literally! Their modern acrylic signage gave everything from the 411 to affirmations about treating yo’self. We love the laidback, edgy vibe of this intimate fete, and the black + green color palette with shiny pops of copper have us totally fixated. Cari Courtright Photography captures the mood and the small details – like the bride and groom’s handpainted leather jackets with their wedding date in Roman numerals! See for yourself why we think this couple’s style is totally on fleek!
From the photographer, Cari Courtright Photography: Brittanie and Kevin were different from the beginning. They wanted their wedding to feel unique, modern, and really reflect them. Almost 30 these two and their friends have been close since middle school. B + K didn’t started dating til college but these two have been friends for so long! The couple had a morning ceremony (which she walked down the aisle to Beyonce’s Die With You) and celebrated with a late lunch on the lawn. Favors included personalized macaroon boxes at each seat, acrylic signs rocked the venue, and a black wedding cake! Later in the evening the couple had a separate dance party with tacos and a s’more’s bar. Most of the projects were DIY and Kevin painted matching leather jackets with their wedding date! There are so many chicly styled touches through out the day and the flower girls in black tulle with leather jackets were perfectly balance with edge and femininity. (I’m kind of in love with these two!)
