I am in love with the bridesmaids dresses!!!
Are those Alfred Sung bridesmaid dresses in seaside? My bridesmaids are having the same ones but all different styles! This wedding is awesome!

1950’s Glamour, style and loveliness. 🙂
Congratulations to the happy couple!

It was a 50’s evening to be remembered – – – from somebody that was there! They truly are a lovely and glam 50’s style couple 🙂
And yes – — the photographer was WONDERFUL and truly captured amazing moments of the event, with all the details.

I love the bridesmaids dresses! I need to know where to get them, so adorable…
Ah! This is so cute! The stationer hit the nail on the head with those invitations- they’re perfect. And I love how the cake matches to invites. That car- swoon. I want one. Love this theme!
Hiya! Bridey here. Thanks, Ruffled, for posting! And thanks for all the sweet comments! This was really a labor of love, baked from scratch. It was truly a magical and fun day circa 1960. We felt so blessed by our family and friends for being there and sharing in our joy! The ceremony was so beautiful and Savannah Moon’s live rendition of Amazing Grace brought me to tears. Little touches, like a miniature teddy bear made by my infinitely creative grandmother (aptly named “Bridey Bear”) attached to my bouquet, and my grandparents wedding cake topper, made the day even more special. The day of, I only had eyes for Mikey (Oh! and “The love machine” 1958 Oldsmobile Super88), so I’m glad that Jennifer was able to capture the rest of the day so beautifully! Some shout-outs if I may: There was really nothing out there in the paper goods department for us, so Mike being the brilliant graphic designer/animator he is, with me as his trusty self-proclaimed ‘art director’ (or Mike-proclaimed ‘client lady’) had our own letterpress plates made from our designs. Mike also designed the record sleeves, which left me with open mouth syndrome. Yes, indeed those are Alfred Sung bridesmaid dresses in Seaside. So cutie! I agree, Jen’s Cakes made the most perfectly formed cake baby I’ve ever seen and they were so easy to work with! I wish I got to stuff my face with more of their cake. The food by Café Primavera was de-licious, and Jose Ibarra magic-ed my dream flowers to life. He is also a set up wiz, I highly recommend him if you’re having your wedding in the SF bay area! Brides to-be out there, enjoy every second of your wedding day and don’t let anything that goes awry lessen your merriment. After all, you get to be married to your closest friend afterwards and the best is yet to come!
May I ask where you found these shoes? I love them!
I second that! Your shoes are insane. I am in love.
The Shoes are Badgley Mischka ‘Randall’ Pump.
hi there, your wedding pictures are lovely! i wanted ask you how you went about dinner tables at your reception…i am also getting married at the venue and doing banquet style for the tables, however not sure how it would work when dismissing people to eat? Did you do sit down or buffet?? i know usually the coordinator or whom ever will call tables but if all connected, there would be several people getting up at one time.
how did you handle this situation for your wedding ? 🙂
Thanks much!!
What is the style of your Oscar dress? I’m trying so hard to find a similar dress for my wedding, and I ADORE yours! Perfection. 😀
