Tabletop 3 Ways with Pottery Barn
We’ve long been fans of Pottery Barn, because c’mon, who hasn’t? Not only are they a great place to find staples for your home, they’re also the perfect place to shop for unique timeless pieces that are also versatile. We picked this dinnerware and imagined it in three different styles or occasions — a cheery bridal shower, bohemian chic, and botanical minimalism, all captured by Joyelle West and florals by Wild Folk Studio.
We picked the Cambria Dinnerware set for its organic and imperfect-perfect lines. This set is handcrafted in Portugal, and it goes with many different tabletop styles. Here we picked three distinct themes, all super easy to reproduce if you’re hosting a dinner party!
Here we used the Cambria plates with these wood chargers and the Maxfield flatware. This flatware has the good looks of antique silver with the benefits of being stainless steel!
DIY Ideas for a Botanical tablescape:
DIY #1: Get terracotta pots in different yet small sizes at a craft store and paint them in chalkboard paint or different shades of black by buying paint samples at home improvement stores. We were eyeing this marble votive for a while and the dark planters made the votives pop.
DIY #2: buy pillar candles and paint them halfway down in liquid gold for a dipped look. It adds depth to the table without having to use flowers.
DIY #3: The tablerunner we used here is actually a roll of industrial felt. It adds texture and it’s super cheap, so no need to feel bad if you plan on using it just once. You can find it in lengths of 6 feet, which is the perfect length for most tables and it doubles as hot-dish holders. We got ours here.

Using the same tabletop staples from the previous theme, we styled a summer brunch table, perfect for a bridal shower!
To keep things light and airy, we used these white ombre lanterns as vessels and these woven placemats. Pops of pink throughout included the cutest Lemonade bottle ever.

No style range is complete without including Bohemian, amirite? We have been obsessed with weaving lately, so when we landed our eyes on this brass shelf, we knew what to do. We put a weave on it.
DIY ideas for a Bohemian tablescape:
DIY #1: plexiglass placemats. You don’t have to buy large sheets from home improvements stores and attempt cutting your own (like I did and gave up). You can simply hit the photo frame section of craft stores and buy cheap frames in placemat sizes, usually 11×14 or 16×20.
DIY #2: We used scraps of leather from an upholstery job to be our napkin ties
DIY #3: Using this brass shelf, we looped yarn in a zig zag shape on both sides of the shelf and weaved a few pieces of wool yarn in different colors, adding leaves and twigs. Flipped upside down and added candles on top.
