Woodsy Slovenia Styled Wedding

It’s not everyday that we receive gorgeous images all the way from Slovenia, but when we get it, they are nothing short of beautiful. Photographer Nastja Kovacec dreamed up of a sweet intimate setting in a field away from the city buzz, and intimate it was:

From the photographer, Nastja: when I first thought of doing a styled shoot, I immediately wanted it to be a DIY rustic styled wedding. I had a clear vision where I wanted it to be and who’s going to pose as newlyweds. The shoot took place in Slovenia, on the outskirts of a beautiful idyllic camp, surrounded by lakes, rivers and forest. I wanted to incorporate mostly homemade decor made out of wood, paper and other natural materials.

Martina and Robert were my first choice of a couple, because they are just as natural and spontaneous as it gets. They’ve been together for seven years, so the chemistry was definitely there. I wanted it to be something special on Slovenian scene, so I thought bridesmaids and groomsmen were a good way to showcase that, because Slovenian weddings tend to be a little different. For a playful touch we created a sweet corner for the girls and cigar & whiskey corner for the boys!
