Wildcatter Ranch Wedding

This wedding shot by Natalie of nbarrett photography and planned by A Stylish Soiree is one of those that just makes you instantly happy. Maybe it’s the amazing ranch setting, or all the bright and cheery pops of color, or the clearly-madly-in-love newlyweds, maybe it’s all of it. If you’re looking to inject your wedding day full of color, look no further:

From the bride, Stephanie: When we were deciding where we were going to have our wedding, I wanted the location to reflect both of our tastes. I am an antique lover and Brian loves the outdoors. We wanted to combine both of those loves into the style and feel of our wedding.

Our day was a mix of shabby chic with modern day bright colors. Our color scheme was orange and teal from one end of the spectrum to the other. We didn’t want it to be matchy-matchy. There were many DIY projects involved. We made a “Love Story Chalkboard”, a fabric Thank You Banner, and hand sewn programs.

Any advice for brides planning their weddings now? My advice to future brides is to take the planning one step at a time. I became overwhelmed many times during the planning process, and I neglected to focus on the fact that I was marrying my best friend.

  • Just adore this wedding…and the bride is so lovely. Love the non-matchy ness of it all and the homey feel to it…inviting and personal in every way.
