The Shop is Live!

Pinch me. The Shop is live! We’re unveiling a project that we’ve been working tirelessly on for the past year and over the moon doesn’t even begin to describe my excitement. Three years ago, I started the blog with a focus on vintage and DIY. It grew into my dream job, and over the years I kept receiving emails from brides asking where could they find that vintage wedding dress. Often times, when we finally find a vintage garment (specially wedding gowns) we learn that the gown is either too tiny (who has a 23″ waist, anyway?) or that the fabric is in less-than-great shape. That’s where the shop was born. I wanted to offer a curated collection of items that reflects Ruffled’s aesthetics, which also includes a customizable wedding dress shop. What better way to accommodate our creative brides with a love for vintage than to help them find their dream gown and complete their wedding day look? Most gowns are well under $800, so they are super affordable too!

As you can probably tell by the amazing images you’re going to see in the shop, Elizabeth Messina was the photographer.

Each dress comes in a variety of fabrics, colors and length options for you to choose from. You will also have the ability to mix and match bodices and skirts from our collection designed by Fancy exclusively for Ruffled to build your own vintage-inspired wedding dress. We will also accommodate custom orders if you can’t find what you’re looking for. My favorite option is that you can also add pockets to your wedding gown! Pair with a fluffy petticoat, available in the shop in two different styles and in several different colors. Petticoats can be ordered in custom length, handy if you’re looking for a peekaboo crinoline for your wedding dress.

We’re carrying Sarah Seven bridesmaid dresses in exclusive to Ruffled colors and if you have 3 or more bridesmaids, there is a multi-order discount 🙂

Tessa Kim created a collection of dainty hair accessories and veils, and NYC boutique Wendy Mink designed earrings and necklaces using the best quality semi-precious stones and pearls on gold filled metal for a fresh take on bridal and bridesmaid accessories that you can wear again and again.

We will be launching more designs in the Fall including over 10 new wedding gowns, more fabric options and colors, new bridesmaid dresses and reception frocks by Sarah Seven and a wider selection of accessories and veils ranging from bohemian to glam.

In September we will be officially opening our studio doors in Manhattan for brides to try on the gowns and accessories. As we all know, NYC spaces are limited, so we recommend you making an appointment now if you would like to be on the list. Please email us shop@ruffledblog.com.
