This morning we are pretty excited about introducing you to Wed Altered, the only socially conscious Pop-Up Bridal Shop and a wedding event unlike any other. They travel with over 100 wedding dresses and an assortment of accessories, bridesmaids dresses, and even lingerie from our favorite indie designers, including The Cotton Bride, Mignone Handmade to list a few. They are all ethically sourced + made locally, ready for you to try on! There is simply no better place for a bride who wants a sustainable, ethical, or even just a one-of-a-kind wedding dress.
Nowhere else can a bride find a selection of ethical wedding dresses and accessories this vast and try them on before picking one. Until Wed Altered, most brides looking for sustainable or ethical options were forced to order their dress online and hope it was the one. Wed Altered decided to change that reality and their goal is to give brides a shopping experience that matches their creativity, multiplies their joy, and rewards their passion for social justice.
Wed Altered Pop Up Shop will be at NY Bridal Market April 20-21, 2013
164 W. 25th St.
New York, NY 10001
Wed Altered is a community + a movement that’s time has come. They know that many brides are looking for wedding fashion that reflects their values and their personal style all at once. If you’re a bride who’s looking for ethical + beautiful style for your wedding, you don’t want to miss this event. They are offering a raffle of great prizes (including a free dress), which you can enter here, by pre-registering for the event.
