Washington D.C Courthouse Wedding

By now you probably know how much we love sharing intimate courthouse weddings. Don’t get us wrong, we also gush over every perfectly planned weddings down to the littlest details, but there is something special about courthouse weddings. It’s all about what matters with any wedding day: you and your honey, celebrating with your close family and friends. Mariella and Sean’s did not want anything formal or traditional but wanted their friends and family involved so they had guests come from as far as Peru to the Washington DC area to celebrate their wedding day. They got married during the week on a gorgeous sunny afternoon at the Washington D.C Courthouse. Afterwards, they celebrated with close friends and family at their home. Thank you Gabe Aceves for sharing!

I love courthouse weddings and I love Gabe’s work so this is perfection. That last shot has a special kind of magic.

  2. I love that dress. It’s really just BEAUTIFUL. And the fact that it’s from BHLDN just again goes to show that just because you elope or get married in a courthouse doesn’t mean that you can’t make something special and once in a lifetime out of it!

I love the last black + white wide angle pic. Lovely couple and great photography overall. I’ve never been to Washington DC but it looks as beautiful as where we create wedding videos in Philadelphia. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the great comments! Gabe is truly amazing.

The hair clip is from Portobello and the boutonnieres are from Pomp & Plumage at Etsy. Great quality and service both of them! ;)
