Vintage Southern Wedding in Tennessee

Imagine my excitement when this gem of a wedding shot by Tara of Dixie Pixel was sent our way. This Southern wedding is just glorious. Photo after photo, we couldn’t help but gush over every single one of them. The uber-stylish bride is a girl after my own heart — we’re so in love with her veil, wedding gloves, makeup…and of course, her gorgeous red tresses. You must see all the photos in the gallery for more.

From Tara of Dixie Pixel: Klay Kelley & Taylor Payne were married on May 28th in Franklin, Tennessee on a family member’s private property. They decided to see each other before the ceremony to begin portraits of the two of them, as well as their wedding party at the Factory in Franklin, which was where their reception was held. Taylor was STUNNING in the veil that she made with the help of her mom! She gifted Klay with her promise ring during the ceremony, which brought forth a lot of emotion from the guests. They incorporated the tandem bike into a lot of their wedding design, such as their wedding testament, programs and custom water bottle labels. They danced the night away at the factory and then left in their vintage car that belonged to a family member. I couldn’t help but be romanticized by the Southern flair, as Taylor reminded me of a modern day Scarlett O’Hara with her gloves and stunning headpiece.

But this one just left me breathless. (and almost speechless).
How utterly beautiful down to the tiniest detail…

  • I happened to see Jim & Sue’s note on Facebook and followed it here and I AM SO IMPRESSED! This was SO special and being a Tennessee lady myself (though I live in Florida and have for over 30 years), I
found these photos to be absolutely charming and delightful.

I just pray the marriage is have as precious as the photos and you will go far. May the Lord bless you in this life that you have begun together!
    Sincerely,
