Vintage Picnic Wedding

Kick off your heels and dust off your picnic baskets, because this wedding is a total midsummer pick-me-up. Jennifer and Josh skipped a formal reception and decided to have a vintage picnic wedding with pops of Americana throughout. The cutest part? They used picnic baskets as their centerpieces and aisle decor! Thanks Whitney Huynh for sharing this summer wedding with us.

Be using that idea of guests sitting on blankets for the ceremony. Very cute.

I love the picnic theme – beautifully done. If I could just beg other brides to not release balloons though: often times these lovely party favors end up in parks or oceans as not-so-lovely garbage.

Picnic and garden weddings are so romantic! These call for sexy flat shoes because they won’t sink into the ground unlike stilettos. The Badgley Mischka Dasher are perfect for picnic weddings!

So pretty. Love the baskets with flowers. But I must second Molly- future brides, please make sure balloons are not released. Wildlife can be injured or killed by deflated balloons. They can become trapped, or mistake it for food and then they starve to death. So sad.
