Travel-Inspired Wedding

This wedding is a fresh mix of modern and vintage details. Nicole and Daniel are both flight attendants, so it was only fitting to have a travel inspired mood. Their take on a travel-inspired wedding is one of my favorites – I love their details! Big thanks to Jordana of Hazelnut Photography for sharing this sweet wedding with us!

From Jordana of Hazelnut Photography : Nicole & Daniel shared a love for travel. So much so that they came to the same career. They are both flight attendants and met when Daniel filled in for another attendant on a trip to Mexico. They spent a fantastic evening together in Mexico and haven’t left each others’ side since then. After each other, travel remains their second love. They infused this love into every part of their wedding… custom baggage tags served as escort cards, travel books & maps adorned every table, vintage postcards of their favorite destinations made up a guestbook and airport codes took the place of table numbers. All of the paper goods were a DIY labor of love, as were the centerpieces and escort cards.

Nicole chose to wear her mothers’ wedding dress, her grandmothers’ fur stole for the reception and her great-grandmothers’ brooch on the back of the dress. They wanted the day to be easy, fun and full of laughter. The ceremony was one of the most heartfelt and hysterical weddings I’ve ever heard. They were so excited they kissed three times throughout the ceremony, then giggled hysterically. In between tears of joy, there was so much laughter. Exactly what they wanted to have.
