Vintage Flowers… Modern Twist

Being a bride on a budget I acknowledge that I have to cut back here in order to spend there.  For me that means focusing on the things I love best.  I love handmade items, photography and my venue.  I am totally ok with the cut backs I have to make in order to make our day special.  There is only one exception to that… Flowers.

I love flowers and would love to have flowers everywhere on the day of our wedding, but alas, my style of flowers does not agree with my pocket book :)  Now don’t get me wrong, I love my plan to make the handmade, fabric/ribbon bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, but that doesn’t stop me from looking at images like these:

I love ranunculus bouquets.  I think they are whimsical, vintage and graceful.  What are you cutting back on to save on your budget?
