Few things make me happier than a couple that isn’t afraid to buck tradition, like this no-shoe-wearing bride and no-tie-wearing groom. The duo held a super-chic wedding in the backyard, bringing along the talented Let’s Frolic Together, A Savvy Event, and Poppystone Designs to pull it all off. A fresh color palette of light blues and greens ties it all together perfectly!
There’s no shortage of romance in today’s wedding, which comes by way of Kreate Photography and Brannan Events and Design. Yassi and Ayis exchanged “I Do”s at the beautiful Sand Rock Farm in California, decorating with delectable purple and blue tones plus some seriously sweet-looking blush pink bridesmaid dresses. We just adore their light bulb cake toppers with a sweet “You light up my life” message!

How could anyone resist it?

When it comes to inspiration for styled shoots, this one is just about as sweet as it gets. Makeup artist Jenny Almazan of Blushing Beauty was inspired by her own daughters playing dress-up and dreaming of fairy tale life, and brought on the talents of Anna Delores Photography and Bright Inc. to bring her vision to life. Of course, some incredible gowns from Hayley Paige only helped the cause!
We love anything celestial inspired, so we were excited to see that the Big Fake Wedding made its way to Los Angeles with a moon phase motif in mind. The faux wedding event encouraged its vendors to include crescent shapes, polka dots, and moody blues to create a starry, starry night. Let’s take a peek!

Any time a wedding with bright pink peonies and floral bridesmaid dresses rolls into our inbox, I count it as a good day. Lauren and Ali’s California winery wedding was chock full of vibrance, light, and love, easily visible thanks to the camera skills of Studio Castillero. And those bright pink peonies we mentioned found perfect partners in orange ranunculus, lush greenery, and soft pink blooms for good measure, arranged by Venn Floral.
Today’s styled shoot is nothing short of the height of romance, complete with touches of soft blues, amber accents, and just a hint of gold. It’s difficult to let go of all the excitement that surrounds your wedding day, so we especially love to see couples returning to the day that filled them with so much love for anniversary session. Leslie and Sean hired Olivia Richards Photography to capture some truly memorable portraits with help from Bari Elexa Events on styling duty and Ampersand SF making utterly romantic floral arrangements filled with peach, yellow, and soft white hues for an anniversary shoot they’ll remember for years to come.
From the photographer, Olivia Richards Photography: Leslie and Sean are the true epitome of love and as an ode to their anniversary, the couple got back in their wedding attire for a dreamy fairy tale-esque shoot at the famous Sutro Baths in San Francisco, surrounded by the natural beauty of the pacific and the tall beautiful trees. Leslie’s deep love for all things floral and peach was matched perfectly with the bouquet by Ampersand SF, accompanied by a flower crown adorned with baby spray roses. As a special surprise for their anniversary, Sean gave Leslie a third ring, from the rose gold collection matching her engagement ring and wedding band. We just loved the overall look and tone of the shoot, the warm peachy colors, and the really beautiful golden California light! To say the shoot was dreamy would be an understatement, as Sean and Leslie sparkled and glowed the entire time, reliving their memories from their wedding a year ago. A very happy anniversary it was, filled with beautiful views, blushing blooms and a couple that has the kind of love that everyone aims to have. Also, the entire session was photographed on film, which helped really capture the natural, golden light from sunset!
Amaranthus was the star of this morning’s wedding, but bougainvillea steals the show in this inspiration shoot from 1985Luke Photography, SmittenKiss Weddings and Events, and Vo Floral Design. The hot pink blooms adorn a wreath-like ceremony backdrop that’s guaranteed to catch some glances, and play a supporting role in the bride’s bouquet with a few cascading bright pink and orange ribbons.

My goodness, how we adore this sweet (real!) dinner gathering. We have no doubt it was just as much a feast for the tummy as it is a feast for the eyes, given that Root Cellar Catering Co was behind the food. This particular event launched the beginning of their monthly dinner series, and we can’t think of a more stylish way to kick things off. Thanks to Jen Wojcik Photography for capturing it all and Isari Flower Studio for the eye-catching array of air plants and succulents!
Newlyweds Maryanne and Matt wanted a wedding that showcased the beauty of Southern California, and that’s precisely what they got with this woodland celebration put together by Sweet Emilia Jane and The Little Branch. The day kicked off with a tree-covered ceremony in the woods with sunlight peeking through, and culminated with a family-style dinner under bistro lights — all captured by Martina Micko Photography!
