Fiesta Inspired San Diego Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

Photos by:

Cara Robbins Studio

When you come up with a title for your wedding that’s “Bohemian Glam Fiesta,” how could you end up with anything less than amazingness? This is exactly what bride Christina and her planner, Rachel Lunghi of Lace and Likes envisioned, and the result completely hits the nail on the head. Lunghi also spearheaded floral design with her company Siren Floral Co., which delivered a striking array of dusty pinks and orange blooms, a pink carnation ceremony backdrop, and some seriously lusty greenery. Cara Robbins Studio worked magic behind the camera, as usual!

Fiesta Inspired San Diego Wedding - http://ruffledblog.com/fiesta-inspired-san-diego-wedding

From the bride, Christina: Bohemian Glam Fiesta – that’s basically the title our planner and I came up with to describe the vibe we wanted. Cory and I love tacos/margaritas, so having tacos catered was a no-brainer. Then, somehow, I started running with a fiesta themed wedding and it was tastefully intertwined throughout the night! The beautiful colors, the fun atmosphere, the dancing — all of the things that I wanted definitely came through. We just wanted everyone to feel happy and loved and I think all of the bright colors really helped to execute that.

Lush Green Wedding With a Boho Twist

Bohemian Weddings

Sometimes you and your wedding venue are a match made in heaven, and that’s exactly how it was for Leanne and Nick at The John James Audubon Center. With no shortage of beautiful grounds to utilize, the couple was able to make their wedding day an event that was truly their own, bringing along the fabulous Emily Wren Photography and Belovely (talk about a winning duo!). Though the color palette consisted of greens and white, Leanne couldn’t resist a pop of fuchsia in her flower crown — which was just the perfect touch.

Lush Green Wedding With a Boho Twist - http://ruffledblog.com/lush-green-wedding-with-a-boho-twist

From the bride, Leanne: We wanted a curated elegant rustic look with outdoor ambiance. We had looked at a few different barn options before we saw The Audubon Center. And with their location (Nick grew up just down the street, only 45 minutes outside of Philly), professionalism of the staff, the illustration history behind the venue (Nick and I both went to the University of the Arts for Illustration), the price, and all of the beautiful locations on the venue i.e.: the apple orchard, the museum, the 1800s barn and the pavilion with its glass doors open to the outside, we knew we had found the right place. Plus we had heard such great things about the caterer Jeffery A. Miller Catering.

Hungarian Chapel Elopement Editorial

Wedding Design

Pinewood Weddings

As a very special treat, we’ve got a beautiful editorial captured in Hungary to share today. You may have seen one of the images teased on our Instagram account, so we’re particularly thrilled to share the rest of the photos from this breathlessly beautiful shoot. Prepare to be inspired by the beauty arranged by a team of Pinewood Weddings and Flóra Floral Botanical Atelier:

HyperFocal: 0

From the photographer, Pinewood Weddings: “Two lovebird finally meet in a remote rustic chapel, and secretly tie the knot after many years of silent expectance. Their secrecy vanishes away as they are moving toward and step out to the light together. This ethereal affection reflects from their photos…” This styled shoot represents our notion how to mix rustic and elegant inspiration ideas.

Game of Thrones on the Beach Wedding Editorial

Wedding Design

Photos by:

The More We See

Who’s a “Game of Thrones” fanatic over here? Raise your hand proudly and if your spirit animal is Daenerys, you’re going to fawn over this ultra-creative shoot from the lens of The More We Seebelovely floral and event design wondered what the Mother of Dragons’ wedding day would look like if she decided to get hitched, and it’s nothing short of amazing. With a beach-boho vibe and a striking black dress separate, we think Dany would definitely approve of this intimate wedding inspiration.

From the event designers, belovely floral and event design: When we thought about doing a beach photo shoot, we wanted to put a creative spin on it. For any East Coast (Philadelphia/Jersey) residents, a ‘wedding down the shore’ always has that typical nautical vibe going with it, and we wanted to try something new! At the time of planning our photo shoot, Game of Thrones was still running and we thought to ourselves, “What if Daenerys got married?”

We found ourselves answering with a beach wedding filled with rich tones, textures, unexpected elements and of course a touch of “fire.” For a girl who is always wearing white or blue, we envisioned her in a beautiful black wedding gown allowing her to really pop off the oceanic landscapes. We designed the shoot to of course have a few coastal touches (cause you can’t fully ignore the ocean!) along with Moroccan and bad-ass elements – Mother of Dragons is nothing short of the toughest girl we know!

Language of Flowers Wedding Editorial

Wedding Design

Photos by:

Hanna Photography

I recall the first time I heard about the meanings of flowers and almost immediately, I was captivated by it. The gesture of using certain flowers in a wedding bouquet to symbolize important characteristics is just so dreamy and romantic. Stemming from a novel, Festive Event Planning used the shoot concept to its full potential. With Hanna Photography commanding the camera, it’s no shocker that the whole editorial and the darling florals by Emlily Floral Design makes this shoot so alluring to look at.

romantic wedding dresses - photo by Hanna Photography http://ruffledblog.com/language-of-flowers-wedding-editorial

From the event designer, Festive Event Planning:
The inspiration behind the shoot stemmed from the novel “The Language of Flowers,” by Vanessa Diffenbaugh, in which a young girl turns to flowers as a source of creativity and identity in the midst of trials. Her skills go beyond her ability to create beautiful arrangements to also include her aptitude for weaving together florals with meanings and purposes specific to the recipient.

orange taper candles - photo by Hanna Photography http://ruffledblog.com/language-of-flowers-wedding-editorial

In this way, I was compelled to create a story through the language and meaning of flowers – utilizing flowers that conveyed messages pertinent to love and marriage. Emily of Emlily Floral Design beautifully delved into this concept with arrangements of lavender roses (enchantment), white roses (purity), ferns (sincerity) sweetpeas (pleasure) and white clovers (think of me), garlands of ivy (fidelity/marriage) and passion vine, and assortments of yellow tulips (helpless love), veronica (fidelity), and lamb’s ear (softness/support), which hung overhead.

wedding reception - photo by Hanna Photography http://ruffledblog.com/language-of-flowers-wedding-editorial

With the reception table, I wanted to exude the feeling of wildness meeting elegance, with natural garlands running across the table that was purposefully adorned with handmade beeswax candles and linens hand dyed using fruits and flowers. Tableware by Pretty Vintage Rentals included handpainted salad plates, gold-tone flatware and mismatched crystal pressed glass stemware.

pink wedding cake - photo by Hanna Photography http://ruffledblog.com/language-of-flowers-wedding-editorial

The invitations by Cecile’s Paper Co. embodied this story of flowers with a mix of bold prints and colors with soft letterpress lettering, while the three-tier cake by Frost It Cakery took the appearance of a blossoming rose. Additional details included the flower satchet favors, which were handcrafted using lavender and spray roses, and gilded jewelry by BHLDN. The intimate greenhouse of Stella Mare’s and a rose garden served as our backdrops, perfectly complimenting the natural feel of the day. In all, I wanted to tell a story with this shoot – a story of beauty, creativity and love.

Bougainvillea Estate Wedding

Modern Weddings

Photos by:

The Melideos

I can admit it; my love for bougainvillea is near obsessive at this point. Fluffy and bright pink, it’s the perfect accent for every tropical climate. Wisely, Andrea and Brian chose to use the blooms throughout their wedding day decor with help from Lace & Likes and Siren Floral Co.. Their day was full of geometric and handmade accents in the absolute chicest boho way possible, and The Melideos captured everything wonderfully — as they always do!

Bohemian Bridesmaid Brunch Party

Wedding Design

We think styled shoots like this should definitely be a thing. When putting together this shoot, Callie Hobbs Photography and Yonder Floral and Decor House wanted to think out of the box and construct an editorial different from the traditional bride and groom shoot. As soon as Callie and Gretchen found an engaged model, they thought to do a glam shoot with her and her girlfriends, dressed to the nines in boho chic gowns and gorgeous hair and makeup. What a fun concept to tackle with your own bridesmaids!

gray bridesmaids dresses - photo by Callie Hobbs Photography http://ruffledblog.com/bohemian-bridesmaids-brunch-party

From the photographer, Callie Hobbs Photography: When putting this shoot together with Gretchen of Yonder Floral and Decor House, we wanted to do something different than the standard bride and groom session. Gretchen was the brains behind this magical day! She actually found a model who is soon to be married and then we brought in two of her girlfriends to have a bridal brunch! To make it even more fun we turned it into a photo session with a bride and her best friends! Who doesn’t want a chance to get all dolled up with a fabulous braid and flawless makeup?!

Gretchen created the beautiful florals and then also made these gorgeous greenery belts for her besties in the ethereal gowns. It was the perfect touch! I could not get over how beautiful everything came together! As the girls were blasting and dancing to music, it made me wish we did something this fun before my wedding! I loved the table setting on the floor with an over hanging woven fixture. I mean wow! Gretchen is truly a talented human being! Along with the tee-pee and the fun rugs she set up in such an industrial, clean space, that made it stunning! Blanc could not have been a better location for such a fun and light-hearted event. I feel like the engagement period just flies by so to anyone in this phase of life, don’t let it pass you by! Take advantage of it and gather with people you love every chance you can!

Yucatan Inspired Wedding Ideas

Wedding Design

Someone stick us on a beach and hand us a margarita. Starting with a color template from the mesmerizingly-colored wedding stationery, the team of vendors for this shoot just let their creative sparks ignite and their hard work most definitely paid off. With a lovely hand-painted table to hold it, Raining Roses Productions brought in the ideal floral centerpieces for this tropical shoot, complete with clusters of driftwood that peek out gingerly among the bright hues. This colorful shoot put together brilliantly by Kristen Weaver Photography is giving us some serious “let’s head to the beach” vibes today.

Yucatan Inspired Wedding Ideas - photo by Kristen Weaver Photography http://ruffledblog.com/yucatan-inspired-wedding-ideas

From the photographer, Kristen Weaver Photography: This shoot was inspired by the heart and soul of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It incorporates lush and bright florals, colorful details, and a slight beachy vibe. Incorporating unique details like a cactus pinata, photo booth, churros, and bridesmaid rompers – we pushed the limits of a typical styled shoot to bring unique concepts to your readers! We absolutely loved how the stationery brought much of our concept together, but we were most excited about the hand-painted table that we created in the studio specifically for this shoot!

Bohemian Montana Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

Every time we take a peek at this real wedding from Montana, we fall more and more in love. From the boho decor to the beautiful bridesmaids in white, there’s no shortage of enviable details and inspiring elements. Thank you to Jeremiah and Rachel Photography and Mum’s Flowers for your work on this one!

bohemian Montana wedding - photo by Jeremiah and Rachel Photography http://ruffledblog.com/bohemian-montana-wedding

From the bride, Mary: September in Montana is our favorite month. The days are long and warm and the wind is beginning to show the changing seasons. The day of our wedding was a reminder of why we love Montana in September the most. We were married at our neighbor’s field and the reception was in my parents back yard, under their beautiful barn they built for the wedding. It was the most exciting day of our lives! All of our very favorite people from all the different seasons in our lives came together to support our love and build friendship with one another. I felt an overwhelming calmness on the morning of our wedding, like all the decisions I have ever made (good or bad) had led me to this day and I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

Intimate Backyard Wedding in Malibu

Bohemian Weddings

Photos by:

Zoom Theory

You just can’t top a backyard wedding in Malibu, can you? Zoom Theory and The Little Branch were part of the talented team on hand for Kayla and Jakob’s wedding day, which was full of bohemian details and sweet personal touches, made all the more special by the whole thing taking place at the groom’s childhood home.

intimate backyard wedding in Malibu - photo by Zoom Theory http://ruffledblog.com/intimate-backyard-wedding-in-malibu

From the bride, Kayla: We wanted something really intimate and down to earth with a bohemian feel to it. We focused on having amazing food, good music and great people. We wanted to get married somewhere that would have meaning for us and were so lucky to be able to have the wedding at my husband’s childhood home. It was really important to us to keep things intimate and only have our closest family and friends there to celebrate with us.

Flower recipe: I wanted the flowers to feel very relaxed and romantic – nothing too fussy. So we went with loose, organic feeling bouquets. All of the bridesmaids’ bouquets were in the same style and colour palette but each was unique. The bouquets had peonies, ranunculus, poppies, and garden roses, with lots of greenery. We also had small potted succulents and single blooms of peonies, and pink mink protea on the tables.

As far as a theme, I really wanted to emphasize a boho vibe with gold metallics. We ended up with a few odd gold touches, like the rose gold cutlery, gold sandals for the bridesmaids, gold handwritten place cards, and the variety of brass and gold vases, urns and mercury votives on the tables and here and there around the yard. Lighting was really important to us as well, and the hundreds of twinkle lights and market place stringers, together with the mason jars with candles we had around the yard really made for a warm and romantic feel. We wanted to do as much as we could on our own. The family recently had to cut down a large tree in the yard because it was leaning on the house, and so they had these great stumps from that Jake’s brother made into stools, and his brother also made a very large wood table that made the most beautiful dessert table. We had a work day where our extended family came over and helped with gardening, painting some of the outdoor furniture a bright and cheery yellow, and Jake’s uncle built the swing that you’ll see in many of the photos and got each member of the family to put in one nail, so it was a group effort. Jake’s grandma did our chalkboard seating chart, and his mom contributed the pieces of amethyst that were at each place setting and served as our wedding favours. We ordered the arch for our ceremony off of Etsy, but it was my mom and Jake’s brother that made sure it was anchored and would look stunning on the day by cementing the feet of it into planters and then planting flowers to give it a natural look. I got overly ambitious and decided to attempt to calligrapher all of the envelopes to our wedding invitations and write the place cards myself.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Our advice would be to try to enjoy the planning process and make it your own. We liked to choose a few details that were very important to us and focus on those and let the other details fall into that same theme. We would also say, that sometimes less is more.

Wedding Music:
My husband was largely in charge of the playlist and we really wanted to have more classic music. We had the odd newer song in the mix, but we had a lot of Rod Stewart, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Sam Cooke, Van Morrison, Cat Stevens, etc. A year or so ago, we, along with Jake’s siblings, became huge fans of Smooth Hound Smith, a folk and blues duo now based out of Nashville and were so fortunate to have them play at the wedding as well.
Processional: “At Last,” Etta James
First Dance: “Love Me Tender,” Elvis
Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dance: “The Way You Look Tonight,” Frank Sinatra
Last Song: “Dancing in the Moonlight,” Toploader

Handcrafted Bohemian Bridal Shoot

Wedding Design

Calling all bohemian brides, this one’s for you! This shoot from Canadian wedding vendors Sharon Litchfield Photography, Cocktails and Details, and Tickled Floral explores the boho side of wedding fashion, coupling it with incredible event styling and design and cheerful pink, purple, and yellow. Those coral charm peonies in the bouquet are especially calling my name!

handcrafted bohemian bridal shoot - photo by Sharon Litchfield Photography http://ruffledblog.com/handcrafted-bohemian-bridal-shoot

From the photographer, Sharon Litchfield Photography: This shoot started as a project to tap into a part of my personality that I don’t get to explore often. To go outside my aesthetic and trying new angles, and exploring a new side of my photography. This shoot is bohemian inspired – the embroidered tent, hand picked style bouquet, macrame plant hangers, and dream catchers all played a part of making the shoot feel organic, whimsy, and gypsy like. We especially love the rug we dug out from the wedding planner’s garage to put under the wooden table. It adds to the eclectic vibe we were going for. For the bridal styling, we opt for minimal makeup and soft wavy hair for the natural look. We played with different hair pieces (using a veil as a bridal cap, a head chain, and then a floral crown) to create different looks.

Bohemian Aztec Wedding Inspiration

Wedding Design

Southwestern style is a trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon, which is totally a-ok by us. Sarah Beth Photography, Alyssa Arlene Events, and Root Floral Design put together this creative styled shoot embracing bohemian and southwestern wedding inspiration, bringing in Aztec elements and handmade details for a truly stylish look. Personally, I’m wild about the handcrafted and dip-dyed macrame shawl!

From the photographer, Sarah Beth Photography: When trying to decide on the theme for this shoot, myself along with Sarah Beth Photography and Root Floral Design knew a couple of things for sure, we wanted a beautiful, bride with a unique look, a sweet flower girl instead of a groom and we wanted the entire shoot to be something completely different than the more traditional weddings we see in South Louisiana.

With Aztec prints taking over everything in the past year, we thought it would be a great idea to mix the vibrant colors of the Southwest with delicately vintage touches. To blend these two styles, we used vintage furniture and place settings from Purely Vintage. Root Floral Design used unique, brightly colored flowers, succulents, cacti and greenery to really tie in the Southwestern Aztec theme. Lily Mac Designs hand painted each of the pieces in the suite while Sky’s the Limit Cakes created a gorgeous two-tiered wedding cake utilizing traditional Southwestern turquoise and tan. Slow Down Productions hand made and hand dyed a macramé piece that was used through out the shoot.

When styling our bride and flower girl, we wanted the look to be effortless and Sposa Bella generously provided both dresses, which, along with natural hair and makeup, really completed the look. Each vendor was encouraged to use their imagination and explore what a vintage/Aztec theme meant to them and I believe that each component came together to beautifully execute the vision. We had a great time working on this shoot together and we are super excited to share the talents of so many amazing vendors!

Modern Bohemian Wedding in Big Sur

Beach Weddings, Bohemian Weddings

Photos by:

Erich McVey

In our line of work, we sometimes come across weddings that simply take our breath away, and it’s difficult to put our finger on why or when it happens. We DO know that it happened the second we laid our eyes on this wedding from Erich McVey, and his dreamy film images were definitely part of the reason. Boho brides and grooms, prepare to be inspired!

modern bohemian wedding in Big Sur - photo by Erich McVey http://ruffledblog.com/modern-bohemian-wedding-in-big-sur

From the bride, Danyale: Big Sur is such a beautiful and majestic place. We wanted our wedding to complement the surroundings and overwhelming beauty of the landscape. We sought something mystical and magical. The aesthetic needed to be of-the-moment and timeless all at once. We wanted the feel to represent our distinct individual personalities and embody us as a couple. I am a clinical psychologist and Matt works in film, thus we wanted to draw together an emotionally evocative and theatrical experience. We envisioned a composed celebration that would capture our unique style with bespoke touches. Moody, elegant, and dramatic like me. Earthy, romantic, and dreamy like Matt. Knowing my love of fashion, many of my friends asked me what they should wear. I sent the following message to all of our guests: “As for attire, our theme is medieval elegance meets 1970s bohemian. Think lace, velvet, dark jewel tones, kaftans, cloaks, capes, brocade, jacquard, gold, glamorous, flowy, eccentric, mystical, and magical… Imagine if David Bowie and Stevie Nicks had a love child.”

Bouquet recipe: Anemones, Ranunculus, Black Calla Lily, Fiddlehead Ferns, Rosemary, Thyme, Moss, and Lichen. Our florist Lolo described her inspiration for us: “Eerily romantic, organic in movement, design is captured with an elegant palette communicating textures created with a feeling evoking the spirit of an overrun garden in the middle of the night. Local floral is combined to create tumbling, gorgeously haphazard collections, with soft edges in a strong color way with an organic grace of ease in harmony with the landscape.”

We took style references from the gothic and renaissance eras as well as the 1970s. We aimed to merge the lavish and ornate style of medieval times with the unconventional and bohemian feel of the 1970’s. We knew we wanted a small, yet baroque wedding celebrated with a select few – our immediate family and closest friends. Matt’s brother was his best man and his sister was his groomsmaid. My best friend Leslie was my matron-of-honor and my brother was my bridesman. My niece Palmer and Leslie’s daughters Clementine and Lola were our flower fairies. Our pups Humphrey and Franklin were our ring bearers. Matt’s best friend Josh was our officiant. My mother, father, and brother helped so much with the wedding, and it was lovely to walk down the long, landscaped aisle with my father. Looking out and seeing our family and closest friends watch us as we stood before them with the ocean behind us, sea lions barking, and whales spouting could not have been more magical.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Be true to your style as a couple. Be avant-garde while simultaneously drawing inspiration from the classics. Do what you want to do and execute your vision without letting outside voices guide you astray. When I initially described our wedding aesthetic to people, many did not get it. Some questioned the visual concept fearing it would be too “costumey” or stylized. It was anything but. I’m glad I went with my original vision. It was a dream! I also think that one of the most important investments for one’s wedding is the photographer. We wanted a photographer who shot on film and someone with a fine art approach to their work. Erich is one of the best in the world. And we now have a beautiful collection of timeless photos to cherish and remember our enchanted day. The caterer is also crucial. Chef Jamie curated a locally foraged, organic vegetarian feast. Our guests (many meat eaters) raved about the local vegetarian fare. And our magnificent cake could not be outdone – a dark chocolate devils food with brown sugar buttercream and crushed salty toffee. Jamie also prepared delicious his and hers cocktails. For me, she paired a brut prosecco with lavender syrup and fresh lavender sprig. For Matt, she made a bourbon cocktail with barrel aged bitters, black sage, and grilled blood orange. We ate, drank, listened to great music, and ended the evening with a bonfire and s’mores. Everything came together seamlessly to showcase our splendid day and passionate love for one another.

Bohemian Arizona Brunch Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

J&G Photography

Portraits in a greenhouse, a boho bride in a flower crown, and a brunch reception — all things we love, and all things that work beautifully together in this wedding from J&G Photography, Camelback Flower Shop, and Stems from Love. Matthew and Shelley’s wedding was one for the books, dear readers!

From the photographer, J&G Photography: A gorgeous bride with a flower crown, a groom with the perfect beard, amazing Arizona weather and portraits in a greenhouse. Matthew & Shelley’s wedding was an absolute dream! This morning wedding was held at the Farm at South Mountain which was bright and in bloom after a surprise April rain. Their ceremony was accompanied by an acoustic guitarist who played a romantic Ed Sheeran song as the groom took a glimpse of his beautiful bride for the first time. After stories of love, laughter and their first meeting were told, Matthew & Shelley became Mr. & Mrs. Miera.

Their brunch reception began as chicken and waffles, french toast and omelets were served. We were so excited to sneak away with the two love birds and snap some portraits amongst exotic flowers and cacti at the farms very own greenhouse. Ah it was a photographer’s dream! This beautiful wedding day couldn’t have been a better picture of the love Matthew & Shelley share and the huge hearts they have for their loved ones.

Bohemian Seaside Daydream Editorial

Wedding Design

“Seaside” and “daydream” are two words that pair up pretty perfectly in my head, and you’ll need to look no further than today’s styled shoot from London Light Photography, a rustic vintage affair, and New Creation Floral Design to see exactly why that is. The colors were cool toned with a pop of marsala, the style was bohemian, and the result was totally magical.

bohemian seaside daydream editorial - photo by London Light Photography http://ruffledblog.com/bohemian-seaside-daydream-editorial

From the event designer, Lorena of A Rustic and Vintage Affair: This collaboration started with a Facebook message from London Light Photography asking me if I would like to collaborate a styled shoot with her. I checked out her business site and saw her amazing photography work and said YES let’s do it. I have always wanted to do a beach shoot so we both agreed a beach boho styled shoot would be perfect. I started an inspirational board with ideas and colors and style. I changed it several times until I honestly felt I was ready to start the planning. The style I wanted was a watercolor theme – especially having a styled shoot on the beach, how perfect would a watercolor boho wedding be? The color palette would be a mix of lavender, greys, blues and a pop of Marsala, Pantone’s color of the year.

Now that I had the color palette and style in order, I contacted some new talented vendors I had not worked with before and asked if they would love to join our styled shoot. They all said Yes and Sydney and I couldn’t be happier. When I started to create the tablescape look, I wanted to include a mix of colors and props. I wanted the table to look and feel like a husband and wife had just eloped and were celebrating their special moment on the beach having a romantic evening dinner. The table runner fabric colors were a combination of blue, grey, purple and it resembled a watercolor technique. I then incorporated white scalloped shaped dinner plates with a gold trim. I wanted the table to have a splash of color, so that color would be the marsala color of the year. The table napkins were lavender sheer fabric and half of the napkins were dipped into red wine and red Kool-Aid to create a somewhat Marsala color. I added a mix of silver flatware; the stemware collection was a mix of pewter cups, purple goblets and glassware had a grey and marsala watercolor style to it. The name cards were a pearly color shell with white calligraphy writing on it. The centerpiece was my double clam food party food holder and I used it as a floral centerpiece holder. The romance on the table came from the mixed wine bottles with candle wax on them. Oh and the seating, OMG the peacock chairs with the flowers attached to them was the icing on the cake — those chairs created the tablescape I had envisioned.

I asked Allison of New Creation Floral Design to create something that went well with a centerpiece I had been dying to use for a styled shoot, my double clam centerpiece. The floral design they created for the centerpiece tablescape included all the colors on the palette for the styled shoot. From the boutonniere to the peacock chair flowers, everything they created was amazing and the special white ornament ball that was placed in the head table centerpiece was too darn cute. You honestly felt you were looking at a big pearl! The flowers included in the floral design throughout the shoot included Chocolate Amaranthus, red Ranunculus, burgundy Brunia, Silver Dusty Miller, Jasmine Vine, White Garden Rose, Patience Stock, white Privet Berry, Amnesia Veronica, white Belladonna Delphinium ark, blue Cymbidium Orchid Sprays, large-burgundy Belladonna Delphinium, light blue eucalyptus, Silver Dollar Stock, lavender Succulents, Rosettes 4″ Gerbera Gerrondo burgundy.

Bohemian Garden Wedding with Color

Wedding Design

Photos by:

Alexandra Wallace

It’s always a good day when we get to surround ourselves with so much color, as you’ll see in this styled shoot from Alexandra Wallace and Eden Floral. With some of the most incredible flowers Arroyo Grande has to offer, the duo painted a bohemian garden scene that has our hearts racing. No detail went unobserved, right down to the picture-perfect Sarah Janks gown and the show-stopped stained glass wedding cake from The Cake Cathedral.

From the event designer, Janet of Sandcastle Celebrations: The inspiration for our rustic, glam, boho shoot was a rich jewel tone wedding with glamorous elements. The stunning oaks that dot the property of The Casitas Estate provided the natural backdrop. Silk lanterns hung at various heights suggested the ambiance of an outdoor room. The gold sequin table runner and gold mosaic floral vessel added a touch of bling to the table. A rustic table with gold chiavari chairs and a velvet bench provided the seating.

A fabulous team of professionals worked to create this beautiful shoot. The styling was designed by Janet from Sandcastle Celebrations. Rachael, owner of Eden Floral, added a vibrant mix of conventionally grown and wildflowers to the cascading bridal bouquet and tablescape. Rachael is well known for her gorgeous floral crowns. Jenny, owner of The Cake Cathedral, is a true artist. She created a magnificent stained glass cake that echoed the theme. The very talented Alexandra Wallace captured all the stunning images. Every aspect of this inspiration shoot was designed and executed by an incredibly talented team.

Today’s bride was going after a laid-back bohemian look, and to say she nailed it is a complete understatement. The day was filled with amazing floral details by Bud & Vine, captured by Gaby J Photography, and it’s the perfect encapsulation of a minimalistic natural wedding that’s low on stress but high on the pretty.

From the bride, Morgan: We went with a modern, natural look… minimal, indie-ish, boho. Our colors were mostly jewel-tones. We DIYed candles for our wedding favors! And our backdrop, my husband built out of old pallets, as well as our cake stand. Our wedding stood out from the crowd because of our location — though we were in Vegas, it just didn’t feel like you were in the middle of a big city.

We used a lot of different greens for our table runners and arches, like ferns and different types of eucalyptus. For my bouquet, my focal point was a protea, the rest was dahlias, eucalyptus, and some other random things. My bridesmaids had the same bouquets minus the protea. My flower crown was eucalyptus and peonies. My favorite memory was our first look, it was very calming for me, and if we hadn’t done that, I think I would have lost it at the “altar.” Also, I loved our photobooth, so fun.

Weddings For Freedom Campaign

Wedding Design

Photos by:

Paper Antler

When styled shoots can fuse together great design ideas with an even greater cause, the result is far beyond the realm of inspiring. Paper Antler and Weddings for Freedom recently worked together on a styled shoot that not only shows us beautiful wedding inspiration, but also highlights the realistic threat of the sex trafficking industry. Take a look at Weddings for Freedom‘s website to learn more about their cause and motion to raise both awareness and funds for sex trafficking victims in the United States.

Weddings For Freedom bridal inspiration - photo by Paper Antler http://ruffledblog.com/weddings-for-freedom-bridal-inspiration

From the photographers, Jonny and Michelle of Paper Antler: Talking about sex trafficking is not easy and it’s often difficult to know where to start. While most people understand it is an issue “over there” it’s far more difficult to acknowledge the fact that it is a growing and rampant problem in the United States.

With that said, the purpose of this photo shoot is to raise awareness about sex trafficking in the United States by showcasing statistics utilizing both traditional and non-traditional wedding details. We incorporated wedding elements such as a bride and groom, tablescapes, an invitation suite, and flowers and then interlaced statistics about modern day slavery in the United States into said elements. Our main color palette was shades of melon and touches of gold and soft greens.

We hope this shoot is not only inspiring in a wedding sense, but on a social justice level as well, and that it encourages wedding vendors and couples across the country to check out Weddings for Freedom to help take a stand against modern day slavery.

Boho San Diego Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

A bohemian wedding with plenty of artistic details and handcrafted accents is always welcome in our book, so when we saw this wedding from Continuum Wedding Photography and Coastyle Events, we knew you’d love it too. Equal parts boho and loft chic, Brittney and Nick had the ideal day for their love story right down to the tequila shot toasts!

Luce Loft wedding - photo by Continuum Wedding Photography http://ruffledblog.com/luce-loft-wedding

From the photographer, Melissa of Continuum Wedding Photography: Brittney and Nick are one of the coolest, most laid back couples out there. Their story has been nothing shy of extraordinary. Nick is originally from a small town in Pennsylvania and moved to San Diego for his service in the Navy. Brittney was born and raised in San Diego city girl and works as a Hair Stylist. It was unlikely that the two would ever cross paths but when they did it was love at first sight. They had their wedding planned for an earlier date at a very traditional venue and due to unforeseen circumstances, they had to cancel and postpone the date. This became a blessing in disguise as they had booked the original venue on a whim (it was the first place they looked). Now had the opportunity to start fresh and really plan the dream wedding they always wanted and a killer party to celebrate. The new plan: Boho chic meets a Loft of love.

Boho San Diego Wedding - photo by Continuum Wedding Photography http://ruffledblog.com/luce-loft-wedding

They chose Luce Loft because of the unique, bare canvas they had to use to create their vision of gold, white & eucalyptus leaves. They wanted their guests to party the night away with them as they hosted a cocktail style reception with a food truck outside. Their bars were themed accordingly: A moscow mule bar made out of vintage trunks to celebrate the bride and groom’s love of mules and travel & let’s not forget the shot of tequila that went around to all of the guests for the toasts! They love frozen yogurt so it was only natural that they have a frozen yogurt bar for desserts. To tie in Nick’s country background they chose antlers and quail feather accents. All the furniture was vintage rentals and each piece was handpicked by the bride. Brittney and her Dad Kim are extremely close and so she chose to do a “first look” with her father. It was an emotional and beautiful intimate moment for her that she said she will never forget. Their wedding party was also unique in that they chose those most important to them, unafraid of being a little different. I love that the bridesmaid to groomsmen ratio was 2:1. And let’s not forget to mention how fabulous both ladies and gents looked! Their bouquets were nothing short of stunning with hers showcasing two gold honeycombs that gave it a beautiful and unexpected wow factor.

Kaaterskill NY Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

Photos by:

Lev Kuperman

“I’m not really sure the style of it… eclectic communal farmhouse boho chic? It was a giant love fest for sure, and that is what we wanted.” How could we possibly resist a wedding with a description this good? Kayti and Jake’s wedding is a perfect example of just how gorgeous eclecticism can be, especially when the talented Lev Kuperman is behind the camera.

Kaaterskill NY wedding - photo by Lev Kuperman http://ruffledblog.com/kaaterskill-ny-wedding

From the bride, Kayti: We really wanted a laid back, fun, outdoor weekend wedding celebration. One thing that was important to us was that it felt communal. We had a great venue where we had the run of the property for 3 days basically, so we wanted to use that. Everything we planned was outdoors, so we really wanted to incorporate that into the style. We were so excited about having our family and friends all together and wanted them to feel a part of the wedding. I’m not really sure the style of it… eclectic communal farmhouse boho chic? It was a giant love fest for sure, and that is what we wanted. A few groups went zip lining with me the day before the wedding while others were at the property hanging out and settling in. We had the meet-n-greet family style dinner on the property followed by a screening of “Dirty Dancing” in the barn. We had morning yoga in the barn the day of the wedding and then everyone stayed and helped set up. It was amazing ow much everyone gave. It blew me away and taught me to always give, give, give. Another example of how we included people was our wedding parties. We created new ones. We each had 3 “best people” that stood by our sides, and we had “people of honor” which was a larger group of about 20 people. The ladies wore white and the men wore chambray ties. They walked down the aisle but sat during the ceremony. We did this because we have a lot of important people in our lives. The three that stood by our sides were just right but we wanted to incorporate more and really honor how influential our friends and families have been in our relationship and our lives.

I basically took anything and everything I loved and threw it in the mix. My theme ended up being mishmash world traveler eclectic boho thrift store Americana? I love lots of colors and patterns and particularly love mixing colors and patterns, as well as clean white. I like to juxtapose and mix things up that don’t go. And I like to combine everything. Instead of one, why not two? I had 6 different save the date postcard styles, two different favor bags, 3 different table runner fabrics, etc. and it all worked! I love hot pink (I try not, but I can’t help it) so I threw that in wherever I could. There was denim, corals, blues, greens, purples, yellows… really a huge mix. I found a lot of the pieces in thrift shops, at garage sales, and online. As for DIY… almost everything was DIY! My mom made all the table runners. For the head table, we found this amazing Argentinian fabric on etsy. For the other tables, some were denim table runners and the others were a striped fabric. My mom made pocket squares for all the men and I embroidered their initials in them. The favors were DIY also. I ordered sage sticks and custom matches and tucked in a smashed penny into each sage stick. That was put into a muslin bag that was then stamped.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? 1. Hire a day of planner. Seriously. Everyone told me to, and I thought about it. Thought I had one (venue coordinator and day of coordinator are not the same thing!) I had tons of people who did help on the day. However, I had been planning this for a year. Everything was in my head. I couldn’t be everywhere at once and get ready to get married! 2. No one can prepare you for this. I don’t say that to scare anyone. I don’t say it negatively. But the rush, the day, the emotions, the whirlwind, the people, the schedule. It all happens so fast, is so amazing, and there is no real way to prepare for that. Take some time alone and take some time with your partner on the day. And also, try try try to say hello to each guest. It’s harder than you think. 3. Ladies… eyelash extensions. They changed my life for 1 week. I got them 3 days before my wedding. You wake up looking amazing. Every day. And for the wedding day… insane. I highly recommend it. 4. Remember what it is all about — you and your partner coming together and starting a life. It is all about love. You will fight. It will get stressful. But find beauty in it and really be in the moments. Try not to get sucked into pinterest. Take some time with your partner that is “wedding free” time. 5. Take a honeymoon, mini moon, or a weekend away right after. Immediately after. Just do it. 6. Break the rules. Do what makes sense for you and your partner. Honor family and traditions, but if you want to do something a little different, do it! And make the ceremony part meaningful. That doesn’t mean it has to be really long, but it is such an important part! We had readings, a song… our friend and a rabbi both officiated. We wrote our own vows… put meaning into that part. It can get overlooked. 7. Love love love love love… and breathe.

Bohemian London Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

Photos by:

Ellie Gillard

How can you top an amazingly hip couple with a classically bohemian wedding style? Oh yeah, you can’t. We’re lucky enough to have this wedding from Ellie Gillard (and with stunning floral arrangements from Rebecca Clarkson of Battersea Flower Station) and we’re ga-ga for all the details — like the dried flowers, the bride’s style, and the abundance of feathers and candles.

bohemian London wedding - photo by Ellie Gillard http://ruffledblog.com/bohemian-london-wedding

From the bride, Georgie: It was always going to be an East London wedding; it’s where we met and have lived together for the last 5 and a half years. We decided to play it safe, and opt for a winter wedding given how unpredictable British summertime can be. Keeping it personal was important, for example we took creative license when it came to traditions. So the church was a very old fashioned ceremony where we had to kneel, but we shunned other traditions like having a seating plan. Music was key. In fact, I think one of the first things we booked was the band (Fleetwood Bac – an amazing tribute band). They kind of became the inspiration for the look and feel of the wedding.

Overall I would describe the theme as wild gypsy, bohemian meets Gothic, medieval. We had loads of handmade hanging feathers, dried wild flowers, giant dream catchers, ribbon garlands and hundreds of candles (500 to be precise!). Our friend designed amazing bespoke wedding invites that were three personalised tarot cards representing our past, present and future. We set up an old school type writer as a guest book. Another friend made us a beautiful personalised card box from an old suitcase. And there was a washing line of photos of us from babies to now, including shots of us with all the guests at the wedding. There was no colour scheme per se; we just wanted to keep it all quite muted and washed out, with accents of punchier, bold shades like my black cherry lipstick.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Be all over the detail, especially if you don’t have a planner. I work in advertising, so treated it in the same way I would a big production. I had pre-production documents, timing plans and a contact sheet for the wedding party with responsibilities. It just meant that on the day I was so chilled, we had done everything we could and if something went wrong it wasn’t my problem! Get friends and family involved and draw on their skills. Our pals were incredible — my friend Gina did my hair and makeup, Ben did our wedding stationery, another friend DJed, my Dad and Stepmum are chefs so did the food, and we had a gang help us set it up the day before and break it down after. We were super lucky to be surrounded by such talented folk.

From the photographer, Ellie Gillard: Georgie and Andy are super stylish, and planned a urban bohemian wedding with a natural, elegant hippie flavour, in the blank canvas of London’s Tab Centre. Georgie had an amazing Charlotte Casadejus dress, and Andy chose to rock the teddy boy look with a suit from Sandro. The room was decorated with organic elements – corn, lemons and artichokes, as well as giant dreamcatchers, ivy and hundreds of candles.

Wedding Music:
Processional: Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring
Signing of the Register: “Sea of Love,” Cat Power; “True Love Will Find You in the End,” Daniel Jonson (covered by our lovely friend Charlotte Hancock)
First Dance: “I Wanna Stay With You,” Gallagher and Lyle
Bouquet Toss: “All the Single Ladies,” Beyonce
Last Dance: “You Can Go Your Own Way,” Fleetwood Mac
I also made a number of playlists which I tried to compliment for the different moods for the day. For example modern string music for the church, beautiful folk-y tracks for straight after the ceremony, chilled 60/70s for the meal and some more uptempo 80s to see us into the night.

Intimate Louisiana Wedding

Bohemian Weddings

Of all the wedding ideas we’ve seen over the years, this one might be the sweetest. As soon as the members Bret and Haley’s bridal party made their way to the altar, they each picked up an instrument and joined together to play Haley down the aisle to meet her groom. Sarah Beth Photography beautifully captured the sweet emotion of the day, and the lush flowers from Root Floral Design.

From the bride, Haley: We wanted our wedding to exemplify community. The wedding was at Parc San Souci, a park right in the middle of downtown Lafayette. There were no barricades or fences to block off strangers or “unwanted” guests. We wanted our wedding to make people feel welcomed into our lives. So, we put ourselves right down town, a place easily accessible to the public, to the invited, and to the homeless.

Bouquet recipe: Most of the flowers used were lavender, eucalyptus, hydrangeas, and wheat. There was a bit of rosemary spread around and there were quite a few roses in my bouquet.

The color scheme was lavender, sage, and off white. Mostly all of the decorations were DIY. There were embroidery hoops with different fabrics stretched in them hanging from the trees. I used the same fabric from the hoops to make little pouches of birdseed to be thrown at us in the send off. There where twin size flat sheets hung to create a wall so the groom couldn’t see me as I waited in line in the processional. We also used flat twin sheets as tablecloths on 6ft tables as well as on big wooden spools that we used as our tables for the potluck food. And we hung an array of thrift-store find coffee mugs on pallets to be taken as a wedding favor, as well as to be filled with Birdrock coffee catered by a local coffee shop, The Lab. My bouquet, his boutonniere, and the beautiful alter backdrop of flowers was done by a local florist, Root. But, all the other flowers were done by my mother. She put the arrangements in wine bottles and other neat looking thrift-find bottles.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? Don’t stress!! Of course there’s a ton to be done to make your dream a reality. But when it comes down to it, at the end of that day it will be beautiful because you’re married to the one you love, not because of all the work you did. Don’t get frustrated with one another over wedding planning, but focus on marriage planning together. And don’t be afraid to allow and ask your friends and family to help.

Wedding Music:
Processional: My friend Tray a while back wrote a song about the Biblical story about Hosea. It’s a story ultimately about God’s love for His people regardless of where they are and what they’re doing. He’s our groom and we’re His bride. We wanted our wedding to display the love of our God for His people. So, for the processional, as the bridal party walked out, my friend Esther played the instrumental of Tray’s song on violin. As each member got to the altar they grabbed their instrument and began to play with her. There were guitars, harmonicas, rain stick, accordion, and more. As each person played it rose in climax until I walked out with my father. The moment I stepped out they all sang the chorus, “You are the cloud to my sky//You are the tear in my eye//Can’t you see love in me// And I will swallow my pride// I’ll do what it takes till I have my bride// and you’ll see love in me.”
Recessional: “I’ll Fly Away”
First Dance: “Million Miles,” Josh Garrels

Sassyfras Studios

North Carolina photographers Sassyfras Studios sent this inspiration shoot our way, and we knew within seconds we needed to share it with you all. This is bohemian and vintage styling to perfection, featuring a real-life newlywed couple with a serious penchant for traveling. Get ready for some ultimate hippie chich inspiration:

bohemian wedding ideas

From the photographers, Sassyfras Studios: Sassyfras Studios bring you a inspiration shoot based on the idea of wanderlust, mother nature and all things boho. This session was for our recent workshop. Courtney and Nathaniel are newlyweds. Not only did Courtney play the tambourine as she came back down the aisle (at her wedding), but they also have a love and passion for travel and adventure. Nathaniel grew up in West Africa, and they are moving to Thailand soon. We didn’t want the setup to seem forced but something natural that gypsies would do to gather their friends together to celebrate their love.

We wanted to bring in elements of nature along with hippie treasures. Some main themes and elements seen throughout are antlers, arrows, organic fruits, Aztec and Indian prints mixed and matched with metallics… The invites are handwritten on leather attached to arrows, and the map is of the mountain and what will be going on during the gathering to celebrate their love. The personal Pomegranate Pies to go, as desserts.

The shoot is supposed to go from the beginning of the day, Courtney getting ready, to the exit and all the details in between. The Colored Smoke was their exit.

Santa Cruz Bohemian Wedding Ideas

Majesta Patterson

When Jennifer Edmon of Something Blue set out to create this styled shoot with Majesta Patterson, there were no holds barred. Jennifer not only put together the incredible tablescape, but also made the pillows, the skirt of the dress, the floral arrangements, and provided all of the vintage rentals! Don’t miss the dreamy accompanying video from Patterson Films.

From the stylist, Jennifer of Something Blue: I had such a wonderful time styling this shoot. When Majesta and I committed to doing this project together, we knew a boho shoot in the beautiful Santa Cruz would be the perfect inspiration for us. For every event, I like to stem design from one specific piece of inspiration. In this case, it was the beautiful bottles on the table. My Nonna and Papa actually collected them all off beaches when my dad was a little boy. She has kept them all these years and gave them to me this Thanksgiving. They are all truly vintage and some were made in the early 1900’s. It made me feel so special that she gave them to me, and I am so happy their beauty is being shared! After seeing how the bottles collected the sunlight and turned bright, I was in love!

Feathers and head wreaths are always a good staple for bohemian styled weddings. The place cards are a really simple, pretty, inexpensive way to make a statement on your plates. Print/write the names of your guests, rip into strips and weave in a feather or flower stem, then presto! Sweet name cards! I made all the pillows, definitely a much cheaper way to go than purchasing pillows. Plus, you get to pick your exact color palette. I think they came out pretty cute! I really like the idea of low tables, no chairs but comfy stylish pillows to sit on.

Oh, and we cannot forget the dress! I found that darling vintage grey-blue lace bustier and made the skirt with an ivory dotted lace overlay and linen. The flowers really do take the cake on this one. Whenever I see the opportunity, I use amaranthus (the weepy green flowers). I just love the way they lay in every arrangement. White Camelias, baby’s breath, green germini and branches are what make this pretty bouquet! All this with our very own vintage décor rentals set the stage for this inspiration shoot, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

Modern Bohemian Washington Wedding

Whimsical Weddings

Mastin Studio

Today’s wedding, sent over by Kirk of Mastin Studio, is something straight out of a dream. Bride Stacey wanted not only a wedding day, but a weekend wedding celebration to remember — and it looks like she definitely got it! Prepare to fall in love with Stacey and Teal’s vow exchange by the water, the bride’s Leanne Marshall gown, and some of the most incredible floral arrangements bought from Skyline Flowers and arranged by the family!

boho bride and groom

From the bride, Stacey: Our wedding was a weekend celebration that kicked off Friday evening with a huge Filipino dinner, orca whale pinata, an epic game of capture the flag and then s’mores by the campfire. We had the ceremony Saturday afternoon on the beach at the water’s edge and dinner in the open air. We were told that we had the first wedding that didn’t use a tent!

Our color scheme was tonal reds with touches of blue. I used colourlovers.com to come us with a color palette that I called Red by the Sea. We had lots and lots of DIY projects, I’ve always been a maker of things! Our wedding was the loveliest excuse to make many things: cloth napkins, made from collected vintage fabrics; tassels as escort cards; table name signs; lemonade stand; flags placed around property; directional signs; flower girl dresses; “how long have you know us” cocktail hour game.

Bohemian Dallas Wedding

Garden Weddings

Photos by:

Sarah Kate Photo

Today’s wedding shot by Sarah Kate Photographer, is the ultimate in bohemian style: a gorgeous boho bride with a beautiful outdoor ceremony under the trees. Newlyweds Alex and Michael planned their wedding in only five months (are you as shocked as we were?), and the bride gave her new husband a disco ball as his wedding gift! We also love the darling parade of flower girls and ring bearers during the processional and the wild florals by Bows and Arrows.

From the bride, Alex: When Michael and I got engaged in January, we initially discussed getting married in October. However, with Michael finishing up school in Boston and an impending move to California in late June, we thought it would be best to move the wedding to early June. Most people thought it would be wedding suicide, but Michael and I were totally willing and excited!

The venue, being the first most obvious step, ended up being the easiest step for us. My parents moved into a house with a breathtaking diamond-in-the-rough backyard. When I saw it two years ago for the first time, I knew immediately that I was going to get married there. Because the venue was outdoors with completely untamed shrubbery and a 300 year old oak tree, I knew immediately that the feel of our wedding would be romantic, whimsical, and natural with a little disco twist. My Mom and I started planning straight away. I always knew that our wedding would be mostly DIY considering how creative and hands-on my Mom and I both tend to be. It was very important to me to have the wedding reflect both mine and Michael’s personality and I think in the end we definitely accomplished that.

It was truly more that we could have imagined; Michael calls it “make-believe.” Everything that we imagined came true in that big backyard. The huge oak tree stood taller than ever with rows of white wooden chairs in front and the shower of flower pedals at the base. The handmade dance floor on the opposite side of the yard glistened with fairy lights and my wedding gift to Michael, a huge mirrored disco ball, hung above it all. My favorite detail would have to be the oversized birdcages filled with ridiculously beautiful flowers and foliage. The idea came from my Mom within the first week of our planning and our amazing florists brought it to life.

It’s a weird feeling having something that you worked so hard on for so long be over in one day. Sometimes I wish I could have been a guest attending and observing our wedding just to take in all the details and ambiance. Then again, being the bride is the best spot. Not only is all of this OUR wedding but I had the best seat in the house. I had the love of my life in front of me and all our friends and family smiling back at us. I am beyond blessed and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.

Hawaiian Holiday Inspiration Shoot

Wedding Design

Photos by:

We’re starting our roll into the winter season, which means Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is on repeat in my iTunes these days. Add our favorite season with one of the best places on earth, and this styled shoot is brought to fruition by Opihi Love and Tamiz Photography. A holiday shoot with bohemian styling from Hawaii? Say no more, I’m officially sold!

bohemian wedding decor

From the stylist, Melissa of Opihi Love: Hawaii is such a little slice of heaven on earth — beaches, sand, sunsets, we have it all! It’s when you find hidden gems like a Eucalyptus Forest, and fields of protea, you realize just what Maui has to offer. Although our leaves don’t change color, on the side of Haleakala Crater in upcountry Maui we created our luxe version of a Holiday Photo Shoot. Inspired by beautiful fabrics, warming colors and nod to nature, Tamiz Photography captured the shoot as if we were high in the mountains of Oregon.

Utilizing our surroundings the shoots flowers designed and created by Opihi Love Boutique Rentals & Event Design brought in eucalyptus, protea, kale, and pussy willows. Deep reds, greens, and purples were our feature colors. It’s such a breath taking moment when the sun is setting perfectly, the bride is stunning, and the setting provides you with one-of-a-kind photographs. This is what Maui gave us for this styled shoot.
