We welcome submissions from brides, photographers, florists, weddings planners, and everyone else in the wedding industry. We look for truly fun, vintage inspired weddings. Couples usually handmade some or most aspects of their own weddings, keeping their families in mind as well as Mother Nature. They are creative, style-conscious, naturally detail oriented and madly in love.
Usually for real wedding features we look for vintage inspired elements and lots of details. For examples of past real wedding features, check out http://ruffledblog.com/category/weddings/. We also feature engagement sessions, proposals, bridal sessions and other wedding related photo shoots. For these photoshoots we keep an eye for distinct style and unique “themes” or stories behind them.
Real wedding features get the most exposure, receiving 1-4 posts throughout the day depending on the wedding!
Ready to submit? Here’s the scoop:
How many images?
Ideally 50 or more images if it’s a wedding, including detail shots, getting ready, ceremony and reception. For engagement sessions and other wedding related photoshoots a selection 20-25 images is perfect. Don’t forget to send a list of all vendors hired in the wedding/shoot!
What size?
Images are 600 pixels across, including individual vertical photos.
How do I send them?
Zip file, transfer over FTP, yousendit.com, …
