Sixties Engagement Shoot

A John Lennon and Yoko Ono inspired engagement session, what else could I ask for? This 1960s inspired shoot styled by April Foster of April Foster Events is a feast to my eyes. From April: “Lora and Mike are both in theater. Their quirky sense of style combined with their fun personalities made this engagement session both unique and incredibly fun. Prior to the shoot, I got to know Lora and Mike a little better. I found out the following: they both love theater, music, celebrities from the 60s and 70s, the outdoors, and anything a little different. The day of the shoot, Lora, Mike and I stopped at Goodwill to pick out some additional outfits. We loaded up the car with the props I picked out earlier in the week at various shops. We were headed to a great sunflower patch but had to make one stop first – to get a shot of Lora and Mike in a bathtub.”

Shot by Megan W Photography (whose work you may remember from this equally gorgeous Ice Cream Parlor Session I posted last year). Big thanks to April and Megan for sharing this shoot with us!
