Sedona Elopement by Lang Photographers

Elopements

Elopements have an uber romantic way of vowing a lifetime together without the social pressure of making it public. In Nadia and Ernest’s case, it was just of them + their newborn baby. This party of three headed to the Sedona mountains to elope, with Lang Photographers in tow for the images. Be sure to watch the video by Romantic Wedding Videos below!

I wanted something simple, yet elegant and beautiful. With the forest being the backdrop for our intimate ceremony. I wanted no distractions, just the two of us and our vows. And our styling was inspired by a Jcrew ad of course! When we originally planned our wedding, we envisioned a grand reception with lots of intricate details. But when our sweet baby Penelope came into the picture our priorities shifted drastically and a sweet elopement seemed to better fit our family, financially and emotionally. We decided on an elopement just weeks before we made it happen.

Advice for couples planning now? Be true to your style, your unique relationship, and YOUR priorities. It is so easy to make this day about everyone else’s feelings… But they had their big day. This is about the two of you!

From the videographer, Kristen of Romantic Wedding Videos: This wedding is unique because Nadia & Ernest chose to elope in the mountains of Sedona, Arizona with only their newborn baby, wedding officiator, videographer, and photographer present. They broke the news to their friends and family last night by showing this video at what everyone thought was going to be an engagement party. There was not a dry eye in the room, tears of happiness, of course :) Weddings are often such a big affair these days, and this couple is the perfect representation of what matters most when you strip away all the details: love between two individuals.

I love the couples advice when they state, “It is so easy to make this day about everyone else’s feelings… But they had their big day. This is about the two of you!” You can tell this couple understood what is most important in a marriage which is the commitment to each other. Beautiful wedding video! The bride even kind of looks like Sandra Bullock!

We love it when couples document their elopements. Couples can really focus on themselves and their own happiness, while photographers can concentrate on capturing the intimate moments. Really beautiful.

Lovely! Do you know where her gorgeous necklace is from? Obsessed!

    Thanks!
